Chapter 136 - Chapter 136: For the Glory of the Northern God!

"What?"

"The God Butcher, Gorr?"

"I know about him."

Inside the temple in New York, the Ancient One listened to Aron's words after he returned.

Her brow furrowed.

"Now the problem is serious," she said in a quiet but heavy voice.

"Why?" Aron immediately suspected that behind her expression there was more than just the story about Gorr.

And he was right.

The Ancient One's next words shocked everyone present, except Aron.

"Because the Gorr of our universe still lives on his planet, a mere mortal suffering in drought."

"At this moment, he is far from becoming the God Butcher. Just a broken man on a meaningless planet."

Everyone, including Hela, stared at her in disbelief.

What does that mean?

The Gorr of their universe wasn't the one slaughtering gods?

Then who was this Gorr, this God Butcher who appeared?

"Do you mean to say that other worlds have entered our universe?" Wanda was the first to react, her voice trembling.

"No…"

"This Gorr is from another universe." The Ancient One spoke slowly but firmly.

"!!!" Wanda looked as if her entire perception of reality had shattered once again.

From the moment she started following Aron, it felt like her perspective kept expanding, constantly breaking down what she thought she knew.

"So, Gorr from a parallel universe?" Aron didn't look too surprised.

As a traveler between worlds, he was already prepared for the possibility of parallel universes. But he didn't expect their existence to be revealed so quickly.

"Aron, remember what I told you before, the dimensional barrier of our universe is becoming fragile."

"Now it's clear that the consequences are already manifesting." The Ancient One looked serious, her eyes flashing with concern.

"Our priority is to discover which universe this Gorr comes from."

"Because among thousands of parallel universes there are those… extremely dangerous."

Aron immediately understood. The Ancient One's warning wasn't baseless.

He knew the difference, Marvel universes exist in different forms: the cinematic universe, the extended universe, even the comic universe.

But the details weren't what mattered.

What truly mattered now was: from where did this Gorr, the God Butcher, come?

Aron suspected the worst, that he was a character from the comic universe.

And everyone knew what that meant.

The characters in the movies were weakened versions. Their power and combat ability couldn't compare with those from the comics.

If this Gorr really was from the comics…

That would be a blow strong enough to pierce dimensional barriers.

Aron frowned, but he didn't show panic.

For him, Gorr was an intruder from another universe. And by the rules Aron followed, that made him a demon to be banished.

He just needed to find him, use the system's exorcist power, and eliminate him.

But unlike him, no one else in the room felt such certainty.

As soon as they heard that Gorr came from another universe and had already gained fame as a butcher of gods, everyone's faces tightened in worry.

On one hand, they wondered how powerful he was and whether he could even be stopped.

On the other hand, what was even more terrifying…

If Gorr from a parallel universe could enter their world, would that open the door for others?

Even more powerful, even more dangerous conquerors?

Obviously.

The Ancient One saw everyone's concern and spoke:

"You don't need to worry too much about an invasion of parallel universes."

"When this is over, I will personally go into the depths of the universe and speak with Atleza."

"Who is Atleza?"

For the first time, Aron was somewhat confused.

He truly didn't know this name. The key was that Atleza had never been mentioned in the movies.

Seeing Aron's doubts, a smile appeared on the Ancient One's face.

"Hm, how long have you only been at the level of the Heavenly Father?"

"The water of this universe is deep, child, you can't understand it." The Ancient One laughed in a way that hid meaning, as if she was once again that ancient greatness from the Supreme period.

But in the end, she decided to dispel Aron's doubts.

"Atleza is the physical embodiment of the Cosmic Anchor."

"She is the physical existence that maintains the stability of the universe and prevents it from reaching its final destruction."

"Of course, every parallel universe has its own cosmic anchor."

"And the cosmic anchor of our world… is a very sweet girl."

After the Ancient One finished speaking, she held back and deliberately watched Aron's expression.

When she noticed his eyes light up, she immediately added:

"In a certain sense, Atleza is also the guardian of the dimensional barriers."

"If you reveal to her who broke through the dimensional barrier… guess what she'll do?"

Indeed.

Hearing this, Aron immediately abandoned his plan to follow the Ancient One just to meet the "sweet young lady."

"What bullshit cosmic anchor?"

"She's definitely not even a tenth as sweet as my Wanda, right?"

As soon as the words fell from his mouth, he immediately regretted it.

Indeed…

"Darling."

"Aren't I sweet?"

Hela's face darkened, her eyes flashing with fierce light.

Then Felicia, Skye, and Gwen also stood on Hela's side.

Aron looked at them one by one and suddenly found himself speechless.

Well?

Gwen, what are you smiling at? Did I sleep with you?

"Oh, by the way, not yet." Gwen reacted, her face instantly flushing red all the way to her ears.

She thought she had joined some superhero team, but in fact, she found herself in the company of one… well, scoundrel. Ahem.

On top of that, spending time with his "sisters" every day, Gwen almost naturally slipped into that circle.

"It's a good thing real villains haven't attacked us yet."

Gwen lightly patted his chest and quickly hid behind the others, desperately trying to lower her own presence.

Aron felt awkward under the weight of those stares.

It's over!

His mouth was faster than his brain!

How could you praise one person in front of the whole group? That's taboo!

"Whatever, this is about business."

"Our immediate priority now is to find the God Butcher, Gerra, and prevent more gods from being slaughtered."

"It is the duty of my generation to restore the glory of the Northern Gods!"

Aron looked serious, and for the first time he felt that Gerra's invasion actually had reason and logic.

"Northern God?"

"You reminded me." Hela suddenly realized something and quickly said:

"If Gerra's goal is to butcher all gods…"

"Then his targets are definitely not just the Asgardian and Vanir gods…"

"The gods of Olympus, the Egyptian gods, and even the Great Lotian might be his next targets."

Hela's words also reminded Aron.

As everyone knows, the Marvel world is a fusion of different mythologies.

There are Norse myths, Greek mythology, Egyptian, and even other deities from various cultures.

Only, compared to the former, the Eastern gods were much more mysterious and rarely appeared.

"It seems…"

"Next we will witness many legends." Aron was somewhat excited.

Although the depictions of oriental gods in Marvel differed from his own memories of immortals from myths, at least… the names were the same, and that felt familiar to him.

"Let's go!"

"I can't wait to test myself against the Monkey King of the Sun!"
