Chapter 144 - Chapter 144

"This cannot be…"

He looked at Aron, who stood alive and well.

Gorr could not accept it.

He had used the most terrifying power of the All-Black the Necrosword. Just the aftermath of that weapon's release was enough to extinguish the light of stars.

Why couldn't it kill him?

After the initial shock, Gorr's eyes turned cold.

Because of Aron's so-called resurrection of his wife and daughter, Gorr turned a deaf ear.

"Do you think I will believe you again now?"

His gaze fell on the cloak behind Aron, where he could sense a familiar and terrifying power.

But he made his decision.

"Let us fight to the death."

Gorr raised the All-Black the Necrosword. The black blade was aimed straight at Aron.

Aron remained silent.

In his eyes, the madness in Gorr's soul was clearly reflected.

"My name is Gorr, a wanderer of a forgotten world."

His body turned into a black lightning bolt, shrouded in All-Black, and without hesitation charged forward. Thousands of blades like tendrils unfurled behind him and came crashing down upon Aron.

"I have bathed in the blood of gods! Give your all to shatter the bloody path! Only for the sake of a mere dream…"

"—End the Age of Gods!"

When Gorr shouted the last sentence, Aron laughed inwardly.

It's done.

Now I am truly a villain in their eyes. So be it.

"Cloak, bloom."

Aron activated the power within himself.

The Cloak of the Great Demon Shadow unfurled behind him.

The power of the Dead Celestial, one last time, shone in its deadly radiance.

Bloom into darkness!

Even in dead silence, there is light in the universe.

But around Alaric there was no light, only darkness. Horrifying, endless darkness.

"Come on!"

Gorr, like the hero of a tragic tale, plunged without hesitation into that darkness, believing in his path.

Aron, opposite him, was like a demon king, the embodiment of darkness that engulfed every ray of light.

This time there were no protective layers of the shadow dimension.

The power of the Celestial exploded directly in the real universe.

The first thing struck was the Sun.

Swallowed by darkness, its core lost balance in gravity and began to collapse, turning into a black hole that devoured everything before it.

Not far from the star lay a planet of lava. In just the blink of an eye, that dense planet crumbled under the force of the darkness.

The remains vanished as the darkness consumed them, erasing every trace of existence.

"Damn…!"

On the abandoned planet, Hela suddenly turned pale.

Without hesitation, she unleashed the power of the Heavenly Father, enveloping Thor, Ares, and Hercules, pulling them away from the energy explosion.

The starry sky was endless.

Under Hela's power, Thor and his companions sped through the meteor shower. Flames trailed their bodies as they shot like blazing meteors toward the outskirts of this solar system.

"Wait!"

"There is life on that planet! I heard their prayers!"

Thor suddenly turned, his gaze falling upon the icy planet. There, some persistent beings still survived, burning everything that could catch fire and sitting in a circle as they prayed to the gods for salvation.

"Don't be a fool!"

Hela immediately understood his thoughts and rebuked him sharply.

"You cannot save them! If you stay, you will die too!"

Thor was silent, but then cast a glance at her.

Now he knew the truth: the powerful and cold goddess of death before him was his sister, the eldest princess of Asgard and Odin's daughter.

"Sister…" he said firmly. "If gods do not hear prayers, then what kind of gods are they?"

He broke free of Hela's power and, without hesitation, leapt toward the icy planet.

"Idiot!" Hela shouted, furious and powerless.

But under the threat of the Celestial's spreading power, she had no choice.

She could only retreat and continue the evacuation.

...

The edge of the star, no, now it should be considered the edge of the black hole.

Aron had gone one way, but returned another.

With the power of the heavenly gods unleashed by the God Butcher, Gorr, he returned it to him and hurled him into the black hole.

"Worthy of the Marvel universe…"

Aron stared at the black hole.

He suppressed the terrible gravitational force with the help of the Infinity Gems.

If this were an ordinary world, or a science-fiction one like "The Three-Body Problem," then Gorr, thrown into the black hole, would have no chance of survival. He could never escape!

Because the light near the event horizon of a black hole was already distorted. That different flow of time would be enough for Gorr to remain trapped in an infinite instant, static forever.

But…

This was the Marvel universe.

And Gorr, he was the God Butcher, a being that defied the laws and dimensions of the universe itself.

"If you have no other options… then it is my turn."

Shrouded in the darkness of the All-Black, Gorr suddenly crawled out of the black hole!

From Aron's perspective, it looked like an endlessly long black tendril stretching out of the darkness.

It spread and twisted through space, clinging to the remnants of planets and asteroids, and then, pulled by that force, Gorr himself emerged from the black hole!

"Good thing this isn't the story of some cold science-fiction writer…"

Aron sighed, knowing that such a scene in space would be completely impossible in reality.

Gorr, of course, didn't care about that.

Although the black hole hadn't killed him or completely trapped him, under the blows of the Celestial's power his body was tormented, his bones shattered, and his internal organs gravely damaged.

"Now there is no interference of other forces…"

"Come, just you and me!"

He felt his body falling apart, the hand holding the All-Black trembling as if it would give out at any moment. Still, Gorr raised his dark blade.

"You and I… to the end!"

"As you wish."

Aron drew Gram.

It no longer mattered what they thought, whether they understood each other or not.

Now nothing made sense anymore except the battle.

War was the only path to the end.

Nor could Gorr stop.

From the moment he first raised All-Black and killed his first god, his path was sealed.

There was no turning back.

"Come!"

"Let's go!"

In an instant, their forces collided.

The speed of destruction was greater than the speed of sound.

Their battle carried them from the endless universe to an abandoned planet.

They tore through rocks, the core, the magma, and finally broke through to the other side of the planet!

"Oh, Zeus's thunder…"

"That human being… he… he is actually the Heavenly Father…"

Far away, beyond the galaxy, Ares observed the scene.

Never could he have imagined that a single human could reach such power. And an All-Father stronger than Zeus himself!

"Who is he?"

he asked his brother, lost in shock.

"His name is Aron…"

Hercules' voice was deep and solemn. In it could be felt respect for what they had just witnessed.
