Chapter 11 - Warpath - Part 3

*Vilgax POV*

*Location: Above Uraqu Atmosphere*

*Date: 5040th Rotation/1995 Earth Year*

Rampaging my way through the ship, I eventually managed to disable the weapons system and anything that could interfere with my invasion of their planet. Even when I thought about it, this species probably wasn't doing this out of some noble sentiment but rather because they wished to please their masters and bring an invaders head to them, make an example out of them, and emphasize the right of the Viltrumite Empire.

Looking around, I realized that I had successfully trashed this ship, and I mentally smiled to myself as I approached the inner hull of the ship. The wall separating the remaining survivors from the cold vacuum of space, well, their deaths anyway. Even now, a few of the more arrogant or stubborn ones pick whiever fired upon me as I grabbed a part of the hull with both hands, ripping a gigantic hole, and I was immediately met with a powerful pull as the air was sucked out, as I continued expanding the hole.

Then, stepping a few feet back and seeing that the hole was large enough for me to jump through, I saw my intended target, a nearby enemy ship that hadn't realized what I was planning quite yet. Then, with a running start, I leaped across the vast chasm between us, using the combined efforts of my strength to essentially fly across the vacuum of space, even if I couldn't technically fly. As I reached the other ship, I think I shook the inside as I could hear the faint cries of panicking voices.

Didn't matter, though, as I lifted my arm into the air and slammed down into the ship, creating a large hole in it, letting out all the air inside. Once that hole was made, I began tearing my way further into the ship, ripping a gigantic hole and sucking several of the men stationed there out into the void of space. Some of the men were smart enough to hold onto some of the welded-down items for dear life, only I ripped that hope away as I tossed them out into space as I began trashing the ship.

Soon enough, the alarms began blaring all across the spaceship as I continued trashing it. Easy enough, seeing as how I did this once before, it was easy enough to find all the right locations and figure out how to more effectively take this ship out, with one of the steps being to seperate large sections of the ship from the power core or whatever they called it. Then there were the soldiers, if you could call them that, each time I repeated what I did on the first ship.

It was pretty much going to be like this for quite a while, as I counted about ten ships in total, meaning I had a lot of destruction to dish out in the meantime.

"I don't suppose your commanders would be open to surrender, I do promise that under my rule your planet will still be habitable and your services would no longer be needed."

I said to the soldier I was holding by the neck, not quite choking, well, not yet at least, seeing as how I needed to hear an answer. The reason I was asking this specific one was that they looked like a captain or whatever their equivalent was.

"Cra Vaca"

I was assuming the reason they said that in their native tongue instead of a shared language was that they were insulting me. Probably their version of 'fuck you' or maybe something even more foul as language was as vast as the universe. Sighing, I tightened my grip on his throat, crushing it with my bare hands easily enough, and dropped his body to the ground.

"Oh well, I tried, hopefully I'll leave enough scrap to salvage from this fight."

.....

*35 Minutes Later*

It didn't take long for me to trash the rest of the ships and return to my spherical ball. Sure, it needed to be launched in order to have the most impact, but that wasn't the only way it could be used, and it did have its transportation system with propelled jets and an anti-gravity engine, something my people helped create and improve on the ships we successfully brought down during our first encounter with the Viltrumite Empire.

These weak-minded fools, though, were of no consequence, and I left nothing but destruction in my rampage through their fleet. It was so simple to take care of them, after all, they've never fought far stronger opponents who didn't rely on either brute strength/their physiology, and on the other spectrum of advanced species who are similarly developed like their own. Heck, the only reason I didn't release the Sobeks on them was the fact that they were hunters, dealing with small groups or a singular target, not war.

Anyway, as my ship launched itself back to my own, I pressed a few buttons to check in on my invasion force. Right now, it seemed like a few of my drones were taken out, but my warriors were making short work of most of their weapons. Right now, they were essentially making short work of their factories and making sure I could remake them in my image, to further produce more ships and machines using my little virus/AI, and it should be simple enough.

That and make sure anything they make was infected with it, with no way to use those same weapons against me or contact the Viltrumite Empire. A rather ingenious idea, if I say so myself, they would still get access to their technology and would now be free to use it however they wished, but be unable to turn against me when I can't pay attention to them.

It was also a good way to build my own forces en masse, using the same design principle I used to create the rest of my machines alongside their own durability. Eventually, my sphere sat down and opened up, revealing the cold exterior of my ship, and I let out a sigh as I walked toward the command center, ready to retake my post and keep the Sobek's in check.

Getting in front of my chair, I slowly sat down and reactivated the various screens that showed me what I already knew, alongside my scanners. The only problem was that instead of showing me a still ongoing battle, it showed me my drones flying through the atmosphere, ready to dock and charge for the next battle. I blinked a couple of times in surprise before touching a few buttons and focusing more on any drones that remained, which were installing the virus I designed into the proper areas, key infrastructure I specifically had them keep intact for this purpose.

This would allow the factory to function and build me more drones to replace any that were lost or new Warriors so that I could expand my forces. I then proceeded to tap into their communications systems, which was simple enough, seeing as how they were still trying to contact me en masse. It's simple enough to use those same systems for myself and take over any open channels.

"Greetings, people of Uraqu, and new citizens of the Vilgaxian Empire, and I applaud the fact that you have the privilege of being a new forge world for all future weapons under my Empire."

"If you wish to know the name of your new ruler, I am Vilgax, a Chimera Sui Generis and survivor of the Savage Planet, a place even Viltrumites fear to go."

"Not much will change other than the fact that your soldiers will no longer be needed, seeing as how I have already installed a virus to take control of your various factories, and technology is under its control."

"Meaning that you now have no way of contacting your former masters nor rebelling against me now or in the future."

"Do not worry, while you are the first, you will not be the last as I work my way through the Viltrumite Empire and conquer all Viltrumite-affiliated worlds."

With that said, I cut off all transmissions and left them to their own devices; I didn't care much for their own system of governance or how they conduct themselves. I did leave a few drones behind to keep an eye on my factories and make sure they weren't trashed or destroyed, not enough to hinder my own forces. It was my own investment, seeing as how those same factories could be expanded in the future and used to help their own society, regardless of what it becomes.

*Rotation: 5041st Rotation/1996 Earth Year*

*Location: Coalition of Planet's Meeting chambers*

*3rd POV*

Stepping into the coalition chambers was a tall Unopian, one of the few who were in constant contact with the Coalition and helped out. The Unopian in question was taller than your average one and had far more scars than most would care to show, although she wore them like a badge of honor, showing her and her people's dedication to the cause and the defeat of the Viltrumites.

Right now, the only ones in attendance were Thaedus, the leader of the Coalition, and a few representatives from the worlds united under the organization. Each with a nervous look on their face, with even Thaedus himself being nervous, a rare occurrence even under the most dire of circumstances.

Eventually, the female Unopian coughed to get everyone's attention as she began to read the weekly updates on both the Viltrumite Empire and the newly established Vilgaxian Empire.

"Both the Viltrumite and Vilgaxian Empire have reconquered several planets in the last week, suffering numerous losses in the process, limiting the Viltrumite Empire from taking new worlds as they had to double their own efforts in maintaining control and limiting new worlds from being overtaken, and allowing us to induct new worlds into the coalition's cause."

"Alongside this, numerous envoys have been sent to the various planets under the Vilgaxian Empire, but so far, their leader could not be contacted through any means, whether official or known."

With that, the Unopian bowed and turned around, heading out, completing her duty for the day, and leaving the council to talk amongst themselves. The first to speak was Thaedus, who was stroking his beard as he was deep in thought.

"It is a good thing to hear of the Viltrumite Empire's weakening influence, and it is always good news to hear of more worlds joining our cause; however, I believe we can all agree that to hear of this new Empire fighting on near equal terms."

"It is also troubling to hear that none of the delegations we have sent thus far have had contact with any of this new empire's leadership, and I implore this council to help come up with potential solutions to this problem."

By that point, the whole thing had developed into an all but in name brawl amongst themselves, only with words instead of fists. Each one with a different solution, some saying they should try harder to bring them toward the coalition's side, others fought for two more drastic solutions, some saying they should do everything they could to bring them to heel and force them to help fight the Viltrumite threat. Some were on the opposite side, seeing them as another threat similiar to the Viltrumite Empire in how they conducted themselves.

All the while, the leader Thaedus tried his best to calm everyone down and get everyone on the same page, to his unfortunate failure.
