Viserys Targaryen look out of the window of their Tyroshi mansion and sighed like a man and not the child he was.
"How is mother?" He asked the man sitting behind him.
"Stable, your grace... Stagnant as if on a prepetual thread." Ser Willem Darry said with an even voice.
Your grace, the old man called Viserys as if he were a king. King of what, thought Viserys.
He could not even care for his sweet sister like the princess she was and neither could he provide his mother with the best maesters knows to help her recover.
Viserys looked back to see the man who had protected them all these years and sighed at the fact that he could not even rewards the man.
"I.. wish to see her." The boy muttered, letting out a breath.
Ser Willem nodded eagerly and extended his hand in a gesture for Viserys to move in front as they started walking towards Rhaella Targaryen's room.
It had been a long time since Viserys had visited.
How could he? Every time he saw his mother's condition all he could feel was helplesness and anger towards the userper.
They had been on the run from the userper and his dogs for a long time until ser Willem had the idea to setting in Tyrosh and give everyone else the idea that they were in Bravos.
Ser Willem opened the door of his mother's room and stood outside, by the door as a guard, not wanting to intrude of the moment.
Viserys took a breath, filling his lungs with air before he entered the room and saw his mother laying peacefully on the bed with his sweet sister curled up beside her, sleeping.
The boy sat beside her and caressed his mother's cheek as he glanced at the silver coin placed on his mother's chest, her hands placed upon it.
Rhaella Targaryen had grown weak, pale and malnourished under the mad kings rule and abuse.
The former queen would have dies giving birth of Danerys if not for the silver coin with the golden sword in its center.
The coin had been passed down through their family, originating from Visenya Targaryen.
"Mother.." The boy whispered "Forgive me, I have not visited for a long time."
Viserys just sat beside his mother's bed and looked at the her warmly.
He gasped when he saw his mother's eyes fluttering open. She opened her mouth and brethed a raspy breath as she looked at her son.
The boy rushed and brought a glass of water for her drink.
"Drink mother, you must be parched." he said and supported her head as she took small gulps of water before laying back down as breathing heavily.
"I had a dream, My Love." She said to Viserys tenderly "A golden wolf and a black one.. They will take us away to a land that knows no pain." She whispered with strain.
Viserys let her talk and just nodded along. These moments where she would be awake were rare and he would just let her talk in these moments.
"Love your sister. Take care of her. You both have only each other." She added in another whisper and with great strain raised her hand to caress her son's cheek.
Viserys moved his face closer towards her and felt her fingers rubbing his cheek before her hands rested back on her chest and she closed her eyes to slumber yet again.
"I will mother." The boy whispered and kissed his mother's forehead before looking to the side where he say his sister stirring awake.
"Visy" She said, rubbing the sleep from her eyes "did mother wake?" she asked.
Viserys just moved to her and picked her up in his arms "she will sweet sister... She will, soon." He told her and took her to the garden with the lemon tree she loved so much.
He watched her as she sat beside the tree and played with a crude straw doll made by a servant.
He glanced to the side and noticed Ser Willem talking to a dornish looking man in hushed whispers.
Ser Willam ended his conversation with the man and sent him away before moving towards Viserys.
"Something helpful, I hope." The boy muttered when his protector stood beside him.
"Very, your grace. News of someone from nightshade that may be in this city." Ser Willem said, gaining Viserys' full attention.
Viserys knew the coin keeping his mother alive was of nightshade and had asked Ser Willem to gain any information he could about someone from nightshade.
Viserys had seen Ra, the protector of Elia Martell when his father still ruled. He remembered being in awe of the warrior as he had passed by.
He wished he had asked Ra about the coin back then. But now he had a lead to someone else who may be able to help.
"Great news, ser. Who might that be?" Viserys asked, unable to hide the boyish excitement on his face.
"The black wolf, they call him here. He.. has been disrupting some activities in the city." Ser Willem said, letting out a breath.
"Is there a way for us to contact him?" Viserys asked, regaining his composure.
"I have sent some men on it." Ser Willem said with a nod and looked ahead to see the little princess trotting over to him with raised arms.
The old knight smiled and took her in his arms before brushing her silvery-gold hair.
The little girl talk the boy and the old knight of how her day went as they took her to her room for rest.
| A Few Days Later |
Ser Willam was on his way back to their mansion. He had gone out to have a chat with some of his people.
He looked up to see the sky had reddened with the evening rays of the sun as it was setting.
He entered a dark ally, placing one hand on the sword on hip instinctively as he walked with larger strides.
"I heard you have been looking for me." He head a voice all around him, making his pause and look around after he unsheathed his sword.
I took him a moment to realize who's voice he had just heard.
"I mean you no harm, Black wolf. I just wish for your help." Ser Willem said all around him as he could not decipher from where the man had talked.
"Oh?" Spoke the shadows all around him, as if intrigued.
"Please, she is an innocent woman. A mother of two. Just save her life and I will give you all I have." Ser Willem said, feeling fear for the first time in a long time.
"Take me to her then." The old knight hear the voice just beside him and turned to see a collosal man in a golden armor with a black wolf beside him.
He looked at the wolf and took a step back. The wolf was as told as him and had a black mane with red streaks and red eyes.
"Where are my manners? I am Skoll and this little guy is Hati." The man said, waving at him in a friendly manner as his wolf just tilted its head towards the old knight.
