The Veil and the Path Beyond
( Narrator voice) :
The forest air is thick, heavy with an ancient stillness.
With a single swipe of his hand, Vilgrim parts the invisible barrier — the veil splits open, revealing a deep, shadowed trail. Far at the end, barely visible through the mist, sits a lonely hut.
This was the same path they had glimpsed back in Episode 48… but now, they were walking it for real.
In the present,
Vilgrim (focused, voice low):
"Stay close, Hairen. This won't be a walk in the park."
Knight Hairen (grinning lightly):
"If there's trouble, I'll just let me take the first hit."
A Gauntlet of Traps
The two step onto the trail… and the forest immediately turns hostile.
From the trees, thin metal wires snap, unleashing a barrage of poisoned darts.
Hairen (ducking, eyes wide):
"Whoa! You trying to get us skewered, old man?!"
Vilgrim (calmly deflecting darts with his sword):
"Your reflexes are too loud."
They press on, only for the ground beneath Hairen to give way — a pit lined with jagged stakes yawns open.
Hairen (flailing):
"Vilgrim!!"
Vilgrim catches him by the collar mid-fall.
Vilgrim (smirking):
"You're heavy for someone who swings a sword all day."
A minute later, massive swinging logs with rusted blades crash down from both sides. Vilgrim slices the ropes clean, the logs smashing harmlessly into the earth.
Hairen (catching his breath):
"If this is the welcome, I'm scared to meet the host."
The Hut and the Stranger
They finally reach the hut, its door creaking softly in the breeze. Inside—nothing.
A voice comes from behind them.
Mysterious Man (light chuckle):
"Oh! You two… finally made it this far."
Both turn around and freeze. Their eyes widen — comically.
Hairen (blurting out, in disbelief):
"What?! You're… young?! Are you his grandson?!"
Mysterious Man (amused):
"Grandson? For whom?"
Vilgrim (narrowing his eyes):
"You… should be older. Much older."
Mysterious Man (mocking surprise):
"Who says? Why stare at me like I'm some devil or ghost?"
Vilgrim (steady tone):
"We came to meet an old man… one who knows the history of generations. Recommended by the assistant librarian from Great Libru Planet."
The man nods, smiling knowingly.
Mysterious Man (grinning):
"Then… you've been searching for me."
Vilgrim and Hairen exchange another wide-eyed glance.
Hairen (half-shouting):
"How are you still this young?!"
Mysterious Man (matter-of-fact):
"Because of the power I've been storing all these years."
Hairen (leaning in):
"Ho—"
Then the men in middle. The man's expression hardens. He points directly at Vilgrim.
Mysterious Man (serious, intense):
"You came here to know about that. Not about him."
Vilgrim's eyes widen — a flicker of shock.
Vilgrim (whispering to himself):
"How… does he know?"
The Chamber of Ferito
A heavy, tense silence fills the great chamber. As the ,
Ferito (coldly, deliberate):
"Imperium Stone."
Fourteen Demon Kings sit in a circle, their attention on the ancient man at the center. The moment the stone's name is spoken, murmurs ripple across the hall.
The old man slams his gnarled stick against the floor.
Old Man (commanding):
"Silence! I will tell , I until then keep quiet."
The whispers vanish instantly.
Old Man (voice deep, steady):
"The Imperium Stone is one of the strongest Cosmic Gods' creations. It grants the power to rule… but to achieve it , you need to know about him — as I told you before."
Ferito (impatient):
"Why are you so obsessed with this man? Can't you tell us about the stone without dragging him into it? Why must we—"
Old Man (cutting in, sharp):
"Because… he is the only one who can stop you from achieving it … and he is the one who defied it after that God . He carries the words of generations. He holds the answers everyone and question to the gods and beasts."
His eyes narrow, his tone dropping to a chilling whisper.
Old Man (cold):
"The man… that always shook everyone."
