Chapter 58 - EPISODE 58: “The Name That Echoes Through Eternity”

The Charcoal Abyss

Narrator (low, tense)

"The void stretched endlessly… suffocating, silent, and black as burnt stone. Here… truth waited with fangs."

Sang (in disbelief, voice unsteady):

"I… I have some questions."

Beast (deep, echoing rumble):

"What?"

Sang (frustrated, accusing):

"First… because of you… I can't remember what I'm doing.Why."

Beast (matter-of-fact, unshaken):

"Yes. Not only you—no one remembers when you use me. Not until we are one."

Sang (confused, pressing):

"Use you? When have I ever used you?"

Beast (low, certain):

"Of course… you wouldn't remember."

Sang (cutting in, trying to push past it):

"Forget that. Tell me—why did you choose me? And when will you leave me?"

The abyss shakes faintly with the beast's booming laughter, deep and unsettling.

Beast (mocking):

"You… are the one who chose me."

Sang (startled, eyes widening):

"Me?"

Beast (slow, heavy certainty):

"Yes."

The Choice

The darkness ripples. A memory bursts into life—

The scene describing the flashback

Episode 4. A spell lies on the ground. Without hesitation, Sang grabs it, hurls it at the window—

CRASH! Glass explodes into the night.

He moves to leap out, but a glowing, beast-like form appears before him… for just a heartbeat… then vanishes.

Back in the present—

Beast (final, possessive):

"And… I will never leave you."

Sang's jaw locks. Teeth grind. The weight of the truth presses against his chest.

The Den of Querion

Rakhad (whispering, serious):

"Dumb…"

Zoick (bursting, half-angry, half-amused):

"What?! The great demon and king—and you call him dumb?"

Man (calm, unshaken):

"Yes. He is so dumb… he didn't have much IQ in knowledge."

Rakhad (leaning in, curious):

"Then how… did he become so powerful, so feared… so respected?"

Man (tone turning grave):

"That… is exactly what we are about to tell you."

The Name

The abyss returns. The beast looms above Sang like a mountain of black steel and shadow.

Sang (cold, steady):

"Finally… I'll ask you. What is your name?"

Beast (pausing… then voice thundering with ancient power):

"I am… Keyokthai."

Narrator (deep, resonant)

"And so, the name was spoken… the name that would one day make the heavens kneel."
