Among all the things that could happen in the beginning, being found naked while exploring my body was not something I wanted.
I can phrase that better.
I put everything back where it belongs hastily while I feel hot from the embarrassment.
But when I try to put the kimono back on, I notice a problem. I don't know how to tie the bow again.
I try several times to tie the thing on my back, and I don't know how to do it.
"H-hey... are you okay?" I hear the girl talk from behind the tree.
"Y-yes! Is just that..."
I eat my pride.
"I need help here..." I ask.
Normally, in the game, all I did was right-click the item, and it would wear it without any hassle. But here it is not that easy...
The girl comes out, still blushing, and then notices what I am attempting to do.
"Oh... let me help you."
She gets closer and gets behind me and starts to do the bow on my back until it is secured.
"T-thanks..." I say, still embarrassed.
"Why didn't you try to do it in the front first?" She asks.
... right, that is an option.
"S-sorry for what you saw..."
"N-no problem... I heard screaming and decided to come help... was it you?"
I hesitate for a second. I feel the immense desire to dig a hole and hide in it forever.
"Y-yeah, I just got startled..."
I take a good look at the girl now. She is looking at me with green emerald eyes, and has a medium cut blonde hair. In her breastplate and I see a symbol of an eagle spreading its wings. Also, she has a longsword on her back.
"Ah! You are a member of the Malkor's Eagles!" I answer quickly before she asks about what startled me.
And I know who they are. They always wear an eagle on their armor. They are one of the randomly generated factions in the game, and they happened to be a group of 'vigilants' or something like that.
I often found them around while exploring and running into ambushes, and so, they jumped directly to help me.
I never interacted much with them out of that... but from what I understood, they love helping others on the road.
Maybe this is like those moments.
"Yes! I am a new member!" She puts on a wide smile and then makes a pose by placing her left fist on her hip and a victory sign with her right one, placing it right in her eye while smiling. "My name is Kathrina! I am a new member of the Malkor's Eagles!"
"Is the pose necessary?"
"It is!" She stretches her arms in front of herself and pouts. "Then, how can I help you?! What scared you? A monster, a thief...?" She looks to both sides and then lowers her voice. "Someone touched you?"
"N-no!" I immediately answer. She is too energetic; it is taking me a moment to process what she says. "I... eehhhhh..." I try to come up with something. I feel that if I say I got turned into a girl after I was almost killed in another world would sound too weird.
"Are you sure?" She leans a bit closer with both hands on her waist. "You should inform if someone touches you where you don't like it! I found you naked after all and-"
"It is not that!" Tooooooo energetic. "I.... I was sleeping and woke up from a nightmare! Yes, that!"
That was my brilliant idea.
"... and you were sleeping naked in the snow?"
Shit, I took her for an airhead for a moment. This is what I get.
"...I was meditating in the cold when I fell asleep."
Bullshit powers activate...
...please...
"Oh! That is not good!" She places a hand on her mouth. "Here! You are only wearing underwear under that robe! And you slept naked, you're going to get sick!"
I can literally see your thighs; you are wearing less than I.
And my species has natural cold resistance.
"I have cold potions, antidotes, repellents, deodorants..."
I can see her eyes moving like she is reading something. Maybe she has a system too? There is an inventory system?
"S-seriously, I don't-"
"...make up, candies... a hamburger!"
"I'm fine!" I scream.
"Ah!" She recoils. "I-I'm sorry...I-is just that... I need to help others to get recognition in my guild... and I have not found anyone that needs help so far..."
She seems about to start crying.
I scratch my head trying to think of something...
If this is the same world as the game... and I am with my character... does that mean...?
"Wait." I answer, and try to see if I can open up my inventory.
With just the thought of it, a screen appears.

That medallion is in there... I better make sure I don't lose it.
Everything else is the unsorted trash I picked up and never threw away or sold. Some of my food has gotten rotten too, and I didn't notice in my save...
If I am not mistaken, but then... between all of that... I find it.
A letter of the princess of the kingdom summoning me! When I saved my game, this is what I was doing last. I was traveling to check what they wanted to ask me!
I know the capital city is east of here... but I have 0 clue where East is and I run the risk of getting lost. When traveling around the world, you are going through a large map and only zooming in when needed, so this whole place is out of my memory. Not even the river helps. I don't know in which direction it flows in the game (or should, for that matter).
"I need to reach the city of Ravelia! I-if you could guide me there, maybe you could consider it as a help to someone in need? I am kind of lost."
Her eyes lit up.
"Y-yes! We are a few hours from there!" She was beaming and pulled her sword from her back. "I will help you, and defend you from terrible monsters that will attack us in our way!" She takes a wild swing that passes too close to me! "Don't worry, my lady, I will be your protector!"
She said that, like she always wanted to say it.
What did I get myself into?
At least that confirmed it. I am in the game of Inns of Ellen... more specifically, my save file.
Hopefully, I can get more answers in town.
