ELENA POV
I woke up exactly at five thirty this morning, and quickly went into the bathroom and did my morning business I wore my maid attire and tied my hair up into a bun.
And quickly exited my room and walked hurriedly towards the kitchen area where I would meet butler matteo, when I arrived at the kitchen he was already there, I greeted him
"good morning sir Matteo"
"good morning elena, how are you doing, hope you had a goodnight rest?"
He asked as he replied to me, I was so shocked by his kindness I would say, because he hasn't been this nice towards me before, what changed I wondered to myself.
"I'm doing good and yes I did have a goodnight rest" I replied to him despite the fact that I didn't indeed have a goodnight rest.
"Hmm that's good to hear, come over here I'm sure you know how to cook and make coffee, but I'll teach you a few things because master is so selective, and now when it's you that's going to be here with him and doing the chores you need to be careful very careful else you'll find yourself to be blamed...."
I listened to him as he explained what his master likes and dislikes, and from what I'm hearing, I'm in deep sh*t and I wouldn't have time for myself anymore because that heartless monster made sure my schedule is packed, damn, well let me go and arrange the dinning table before he comes and start shouting.
I have to tidy things up so that cold mister won't see that I'm incompetent, not that I'm trying to please him tho, I said to myself as I thought of what I'm going to give him for breakfast.
Beacon, eggs, bread and coffee sounds good, I think he'll appreciate that.
I said to myself as I started preparing the dishes making sure I made them good, it took only 20 minutes to prepare his breakfast.
I made my way towards the dinning area to set the table for him, on getting there I saw master Lorenzo sitting at the dinning table reading a newspaper with his glasses on, damn he looks go fucking good.
I said to myself inwardly as I admired him.
"Well well well I see you can't greet anymore looks like you've started growing a new pair of wings" master Lorenzo said with hate visible in his voice.
"Sorry master, good morning sir how was your night hope it was good"
I said to him with a hint of sarcasm I knew I was playing with his unstable feelings this morning but it won't hurt to stare him up.
"Elena I didn't know you're this bold to talk back at your boss on your first day at work, I didn't know you had the audacity, well I'm not surprised you sure are your father's daughter" he said.
I didn't need to reply to him because he was right and I am fucking stupid.
"Your breakfast will be served in a minute"
I said to him as I walked out of the dinning area towards the kitchen, on getting there I just grabbed the train where I kept the food and carried it out so that I could serve him.
When I arrived at the dinning area he dropped his papers and glasses down, then I continued my work as I placed the food in front of him, when I was done setting up the table I turned to leave when I heard his deep rich voice.
"Elena where is my coffee" he asked me.
Fuck I literally forgot his coffee in the kitchen.
"I'm sorry sir I forgot to bring it along I'll get it for you right now" I said to him.
"I don't want that one anymore brew a new set of coffee for me and make it quick"
He said to me with annoyance visible in his voice.
"Ok sir I'll do that"
I said to him as I left the dinning area to get him a new set of coffee.
When I was done with the coffee just as he likes it, I then made my way towards the dinning area.
On getting there I placed the coffee on the table and I took his glass cup, because butler matteo told me he has his own coffee cup, then I poured his coffee for him.
"Is there anything you'll need me for master?" I asked him because I don't want to be doing other chores and he'll be calling me.
"No I don't need you here, the food was horrible and I wasn't to my taste, and also work on your cooking skills or you can take advice from Matteo I'm sure he'll be of good help, and make sure you do your work well and also make sure dinner should be prepared by the time I'm back from work"
He said as he drank the remaining coffee standing up from his King like chair, I don't even know what to tell this arrogant man.
"Ok sir I have heard you loud and clear I'll make sure to do better next time"
He didn't even reply as he walked towards the door with Matteo and his personal assistant or whoever that is trailing behind him.
When the door got shut I went to pick up the remaining food so I could taste and see what's wrong with it, on tasting the food it was delicious, maybe something is wrong with his tastebuds.
I said to myself as I went ahead to do the task giving to me.
I was so exhausted by the time I was done doing the cleaning.
It was when I was cleaning the house, that's when I knew this big mansion has a big library.
I was so happy, gosh finally I won't be bored anymore.
I said to myself.
I quickly went into the library grabbed a book without checking the title, then I quickly went to the parlour so I could play some music.
I decided to play

I started dancing and swaying my hips along with the music
"God it's been so long" I said to absolutely no one but myself out loud.
"Well well well I see you have so much free time that you want to blow my roof out with this music blasting off"
I heard a cold voice saying this, I just hope it's not who I think it is.
So I decided to ignore the voice and continue dancing and singing along the music, until suddenly the music got off.
"Who the f*ck did that"
I shouted as I turned around to look at who had the audacity to turn off the music.
I instantly regretted turning around
Because I saw my boss, Lorenzo, standing near the switch where he took the plug looking so angry.
"F*CK I'm done for" I said to myself as I looked at him.
"So how about you start by explaining the meaning of this f*cking nonsense, maybe that's when I'll decide if you're really done for"
He said this time with a chilling cold voice.
