### Chapter 7: The World Tree Fiasco
Aeloria's World Tree was dying, and Kael's party was tasked with reviving it. Elrik, assigned to "water nearby shrubs," saw his chance. "I'll water the World Tree itself!" he declared, lugging a bucket. The tree was a glowing monolith, guarded by dryads. Kael's sword sang. Lyria's spells sparkled. Zane… posed.
Elrik, splashing his shrub, shouted, "I'm helping!" A dryad mistook him for a threat and yeeted him into a pond. The party revived the tree, saved the world, and left. A butterfly landed on Elrik's nose as he floated in the pond. "You again," he muttered, too tired to care.
Mira, drying his tunic later, said, "You're not cut out for this hero stuff." Elrik stared at his bucket. "Maybe you're right."
