It burns...but not badly. Her inner walls fluttered around his fingers. "D-Don't stop..."
His fingers...they're stretching me so much... Her breath came in short gasps as Shi Yang worked his fingers deeper between her scales. "M-Master...it feels...strange..."
Her claws dug into his robes when he curled them inside. "Does it...hurt you?" His question made her shake her head quickly. "N-No...just...tight..."
Why does this make my stomach feel so warm? Her muscles clenched nervously. "You're...going too fast—ah!"
His thumb rubbed circles near her entrance, making her squirm. "Breathe," he murmured against her ear. "Relax..."
I can't...it's too much...but I don't want him to stop. Her inner walls fluttered around his fingers. "D-Don't...stop..."
His chuckle sent heat rushing to her face. "Good girl." The praise made her whimper. "Now...let's see how much you can take."
Her eyes widened when a third finger pressed in. "W-Wait—nngh!" Her back arched as her scales rippled. It burns...but...it feels...good...
"You're so soft inside," he murmured against her ear. "Yueqin, can I put my rod into your body?" Shi Yang pulled his fingers out, their inner lengths covered in a slimy liquid that he rubbed against his shaft and throbbing tip.
"Y-Yes...Master Shi Yang, I trust you..." Her voice was barely a whisper, but the words carried weight. She parted her legs wider as if to invite him further inside. The anticipation made her scales glisten with a sheen of arousal.
Shi Yang positioned himself at Yueqin's entrance and pressed forward slowly. Her breath caught as he pushed past her scales and into the tight, slick heat within. He groaned at the sensation of slipping deeper into her body.
"Ah...so warm and tight..." His hips flexed gently as he sank more of his length inside her. "You feel wonderful around me..."
Yueqin gasped and clung to Shi Yang's shoulders when he bottomed out within her. For a moment they just stayed like that—connected deeply and breathing heavily together.
Then Shi Yang began to move in slow thrusts that stretched Yueqin deliciously around him. Her inner walls rippled with each stroke until she was panting and writhing beneath him.
"More...please..."
Shi Yang's hips surged forward, driving his thickness deeper into Yueqin's clenching heat. Her scales glistened with sweat as she arched her back, meeting each powerful thrust.
"Master...!" Her voice rose on a moan. The pleasure was almost overwhelming as her body accommodated his size. "You're...so big..."
"I know," Shi Yang growled lowly against her neck before nipping at it playfully with sharp teeth. He picked up speed until their bodies were slamming together rhythmically.
Yueqin felt each stroke reverberate through her core—an intense pressure building towards something explosive.
"Yes! Ah! Master!" Her cries grew louder as she lost herself completely in their passionate joining.
Shi Yang gripped Yueqin's hips tightly and drove into her with reckless abandon. The carriage creaked ominously with each impact.
With a final deep thrust that made Yueqin see stars, Shi Yang stilled inside her. His hot seed erupted, filling her to the brim.
As their breathing slowly returned to normal, Shi Yang leaned down to whisper against Yueqin's ear. "You pleased me greatly today...my little fish girl."
Pleased... The word echoed in Yueqin's mind long after Shi Yang pulled out of her body and settled back against the carriage bench. She could still feel the warmth of him inside her—a satisfying fullness that made her shiver.
Shi Yang seemed completely at ease now, his usual calm demeanor restored. He even smiled slightly when Yueqin's gaze met his—a rare expression that made her heart flutter.
"Did...did I do well?" she asked softly after clearing her throat.
"You exceeded my expectations," Shi Yang replied without hesitation or a prideful tone—just a simple statement of fact. "Your adaptability and eagerness to please are impressive."
Yueqin blushed deeply at the praise, her scales warming in pleasure. She couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment, knowing she'd made Shi Yang happy.
As they continued on their journey, Yueqin found herself leaning more frequently into Shi Yang when he reached out for reassurance or affection during moments alone together outside the carriage.
The carriage rolled steadily along the uneven forest path, wheels crunching over roots and gravel. Outside, sunlight filtered through the dense canopy, scattering mottled shadows across the wooden sides. Yueqin leaned lightly against Shi Yang, still flushed from earlier, but the heat between them had softened into a quiet closeness rather than the frantic intensity from before.
Shi Yang's hand brushed against hers briefly as he guided the horses—an unspoken reassurance. "Almost there," he murmured, eyes scanning the treeline with sharp vigilance.
Moments later, the dense forest thinned into a clearing. A river curved lazily across the landscape, sunlight catching on its ripples and turning them to liquid silver.
"We've arrived," Shi Yang said, voice calm but edged with caution. His gaze lingered on the water. "It looks clear as day… But appearances deceive. This lake hides dangers beneath the surface."
Yueqin stepped closer to the carriage's edge, peering down at the glittering current. It seemed gentle, almost inviting, but Shi Yang's wariness made her pulse quicken—not from desire this time, but from anticipation.
"What kind of dangers?" she asked softly, curiosity tinged with unease.
Shi Yang's eyes never left the water. "Creatures that strike without warning. Currents strong enough to drag even the fiercest cultivator under. And something… older than we are, lurking in the depths. We must tread carefully."
Yueqin swallowed, a nervous thrill rising in her chest. Yet when Shi Yang gave her a faint nod, calm and steady, her anxiety eased. "We'll manage," he said simply, and with those words, her fear turned into determination.
The carriage slowed as the horses reached the riverbank, hooves sinking into soft earth. Shi Yang leapt down first, landing lightly despite the uneven ground, and extended a hand to help Yueqin descend.
They stood together on the bank—forest at their backs, the glittering expanse of the river before them. A tense calm stretched between them. Yueqin felt her trust in him deepen, forged by danger shared and by the quiet strength that radiated from him, a strength that demanded respect without ever asking for it.
Shi Yang's gaze swept the waters once more, sharp and calculating. "Go wake the others. It's time we start fishing."
Yueqin nodded, turning back to the carriage. Yet when she glanced over her shoulder, her eyes widened—Shi Yang was already at the river's edge, fingertips brushing the surface.
The water exploded. A massive blue carp burst upward, jaws snapping toward Shi Yang's arm.
"M-Master!?" Yueqin froze in shock—
—but Shi Yang only smiled.
The carriage door slammed open as his vulture erupted forth, its blood-red threads lashing around the carp midair.
"Fatherless Palm!" Shi Yang roared, his strike descending like a mountain. Creak! Bone and scale splintered under his palm as the beast thrashed helplessly against the vulture's threads.
"Uncle Shi! Brother Shi!"
Han Jie and Xiu Mei rushed from the carriage, jolted from meditation and sleep by the commotion. Their eyes widened in shock.
They had reached the spirit vein at last… And standing before them was no ordinary fish.
"That's a… Foundation Establishment spirit beast?"
The Razor-Blue Scaled Carp.
They had heard rumors of its existence, planning for weeks how they might confront it once they advanced. It was said to require a team of peak Qi Refinement cultivators at minimum to challenge it. Yet here it was, looming before them, scales glittering with Daoist light.
Shine!
Its body blurred, distorting into a cascade of water. It slipped through the vulture's binds and reformed in the lake, the waters shuddering around it.
"Xiu Mei!" Shi Yang barked. Two rusted daggers shot from beneath his heels, levitating him into the air, while two more flashed into the water, aiming for its gills.
The carp's scales flared, scattering like razors in every direction.
"I'm here!" Xiu Mei swung her great hammer, shattering the deadly projectiles. With a sharp gesture, her Dao shifted—she clenched her palm toward the river.
The waters churned, roared—then rose.
"Ahhh!" she bellowed, pulling the river upward, and in the blink of an eye, an entire lake the size of a stadium was suspended in the sky. Within its shimmering depths, the carp twisted, attempting to vanish into the water's shade.
Xiu Mei's grip tightened on her hammer, lightning talismans sparking around its head. Han Jie darted between trees below, setting spirit stones in place.
"Hold it off for a few seconds!" he called.
High above, Xiu Mei plunged into the suspended waters, hammer first. Lightning crackled as her strike slammed into the carp, golden currents surging through the flood. The beast roared, but instead of faltering, its scales regrew instantly, weaving into an armored shell.
Then it spun, body twisting into a whirring saw of death. Xiu Mei's metallic Dao shattered under its edge, sparks flying as her attack faltered.
"The Razor-Blue Scaled Carp truly earns its name," Shi Yang muttered.
With one hand, he pulled the mirror Qian Mu gave him from his robes, pressing it toward the beast. For an instant, its body blurred, half-sinking into the artifact. But with a violent convulsion, it ripped itself free, blood spraying into the water as half its form tore away—yet even gutted, the carp endured.
It bared rows of jagged teeth and lunged, its frenzy like a school of piranhas compressed into a single monstrous body.
Shi Yang's aura flared, blue light dancing across his frame.
Within my spirit sea, thunder roars. Lightning strikes. Wind howls like a wolf unchained. Clouds veil the heavens, swallowing sun and moon alike.
The world darkened. The suspended lake above turned black, as if they stood at the ocean's deepest trench.
The carp thrashed blindly through the void, but Shi Yang's eyes gleamed with cold light.
"Rain down to earth… Tribulation Crimson!"
RUMBLE! CRACK! BOOOOM!
The suspended waters split as crimson lightning rained from storm clouds overhead. The bolts pierced the carp's body in a deafening roar—
—and in the blinding flash, the razor-blue-scaled carp screamed, convulsed, and then fell silent.
Its charred corpse plummeted from the air, crashing into the river with a thunderous splash, sending shockwaves across the clearing.
