"Good morning, Kitazawa‑sensei."
Yamanaka Ino greeted him with a radiant smile.
Standing with her was Hyūga Hinata.
Because Hinata was shy, she hid behind Ino and spoke so softly that Kitazawa almost didn't hear her.
"I made a bento."
Ino produced a lunch box. "Please try it, Kitazawa‑sensei."
"Thank you."
Kitazawa sighed with a little admiration. "I didn't expect someone your age to know how to make bento already."
"Of course!"
Hands on her hips, Ino declared, "I'm amazing, you know!"
Kitazawa instinctively gave her a glance.
Right now Ino wasn't dressed the way she is in the original story—the outfit that shows her flat waist and stomach.
In his previous life, that slim waist was the thing Kitazawa remembered most about her.
Hinata looked at the lunch box with envy.
She had spent all her time learning Gentle Fist since childhood and never had a chance to learn cooking.
"It tastes great."
Kitazawa took a bite of a rice ball and praised it.
A stray thought flashed through his mind: Getting fed again, huh.
Every day he brought lots of food for Hinata—
—but he never spent a single coin.
All the money actually came from Hinata.
Now that Ino was also bringing him breakfast, Kitazawa suddenly realized he was living off girls without noticing.
"Kitazawa‑sensei, do you think I can beat Sakura in tomorrow's water‑walking exercise?"
Ino asked hopefully.
"You can."
After a moment's thought, Kitazawa nodded.
Sakura's chakra control was better than Ino's, but only slightly; they had only just enrolled.
Overall, Ino actually held the advantage.
After several days of extra practice, she really could surpass Sakura.
"That's great!"
Ino's confidence soared.
Kitazawa chuckled and kept eating.
Soon he and Ino finished; only Hinata was still eating.
While he waited, Kitazawa opened his character panel.

…
Compared with his previous panel, the changes were earth‑shaking.
The sheer number of jutsu he had mastered already far exceeded an ordinary ninja.
Only those born into big clans—or prodigies like Minato Namikaze—could learn so many techniques.
Besides the jutsu list, there was one hidden stat: chakra.
And, as always, the system idiotically insisted he was six years old.
Kitazawa exhaled slowly.
The system might be dumb, but it was powerful: in under two months his strength had soared to the jōnin tier.
If word got out, he'd probably be hailed as an even scarier genius than Uchiha Itachi.
And there was plenty of time—by the time Naruto and Sasuke graduated, he might really become the next Sage of Six Paths.
"I'm full, Kitazawa‑sensei," Hinata said, putting down her chopsticks.
"Good. Let's go train."
The three of them headed to the artificial lake—only to find an unexpected visitor.
"Kitazawa‑sensei," Uchiha Sasuke stepped forward. "I want to learn more Fire Release jutsu."
Yesterday's Class 1‑A sparring had lit a fire under him, so he'd come looking for Kitazawa first thing.
He had thought of asking Fugaku or Itachi, but they were too busy and rarely around.
"No problem," Kitazawa agreed at once—after all, he'd just triggered Sasuke's mission yesterday, and he really wanted that one‑handed hand seal.
"Hinata, Ino—wait for me a moment," Kitazawa said, then turned to Sasuke: "I'll teach you Fire Release: Phoenix Flower Technique. It's a C‑rank jutsu."
"Thank you, Kitazawa‑sensei."
Sasuke was surprised; Phoenix Flower was an Uchiha‑clan technique, after all.
"I'll demonstrate once."
Kitazawa ran through the seals and spat volley after volley of flame.
"Let me try."
Sasuke copied the seals—and a string of fireballs shot out.
He froze. Did I really pull it off first try?
He quickly realized it was thanks to better chakra control and nature transformation.
"Not bad," Kitazawa nodded, "but nowhere near enough."
Sasuke had only barely executed the jutsu; he couldn't yet control the fireballs' size or trajectory.
The real strength of Phoenix Flower is that every fireball is guided by chakra, making them hard to dodge—and Sasuke's mission still wasn't complete.
"Do you get it now?" Kitazawa explained the key points.
"Yes. Thank you, Kitazawa‑sensei," Sasuke nodded earnestly, any earlier smugness gone.
If he could master this technique, Fugaku and Itachi would surely praise him to the skies.
"Practice on your own—come to me if you hit a snag," Kitazawa instructed.
"Understood." Then Sasuke asked, "In the practice match against Class 2‑A, is my opponent Hyūga Neji?"
"That depends on how you perform," Kitazawa said vaguely.
He actually planned to have Kurama Yakumo face Neji—but if Sasuke could beat him, so much the better. It would be tough, though; Neji had already awakened the Byakugan.
"All right—back to training." Without further explanation, Kitazawa led Hinata and Ino off for special drills.
…
Afternoon.
Leaving the three to continue their practice, Kitazawa headed to Class 1‑A to teach the practical lesson.
"Kitazawa‑sensei!" Naruto ran up. "Are we still doing physical drills today? That's kinda boring. Got anything new?"
"Sure," Kitazawa smiled. "The five students chosen yesterday will have live‑combat training."
"Live combat?" Naruto's eyes lit up. "One‑on‑one again? Awesome!"
With Hinata and Sasuke absent, Kitazawa had Naruto, Aburame Shino, and Akimichi Chōji spar.
Before the period ended, Kitazawa felt a sharp gaze.
He looked up instinctively—and saw Tsunade striding toward him from afar.
