Chapter 7 - The delicate young boy

"Huh...Huh..." In the narrow mezzanine of the transport vehicle, Saree struggled and gasped like a bug caught in a spider web woven by the devil, but every struggle only brought a heavier blow. There was only darkness in front of her eyes. Endless darkness.

The sound of her heartbeat hit her ears, in addition to depression, there was also the fear of being trapped. There was no one to answer her.

She had been waiting for the opportunity to call for help. That night she overheard the group's words. She remembered the route she and the little girl were going to transfer, where to rest along the way, where to meet, and which checkpoints to pass. She kept telling herself that these people didn't know she was pretending to be unconscious. As long as she left the basement and went to a crowded place outside, she would always find a chance to call for help.

But she was still too naive. These people were much more experienced and terrifying than she thought. The effect of the previous drug was at least ten hours. Because they were worried that the drug would damage their brains, they did not force the girls into taking drugs again. Instead, they tied their hands, feet, and eyes tightly with cloth strips, and stuck several layers of tape on their mouths.

When Saree and the little girl were thrown into the compartment again, and the hidden door was closed, Saree 's heart sank straight into the dark abyss. She found that even if she was awake, she could not break free from the seemingly soft cloth tied to her hands and feet. In the end, she could only pant and fall to the floor with her head raised. She used the strength of her palms and feet tied behind her back to support herself, so that she could crawl back a little bit like a worm. The school uniform had already become dirty and messy, and her long hair was wet with sweat, sticking to her neck. She could not see or shout. The helplessness and fear made this girl, who was only 15 years old, almost collapse.

Finally, when she leaned against the wall of the carriage according to the direction in her memory, she couldn't help crying with joy. Her tears wet the black cloth covering her eyes. The car was driving slower and slower. The noise outside could be heard faintly from the top window. Her breathing became rapid.

Since she was leaving the country, someone would come to check the car. That was when she had to desperately ask for help. This was her only chance!

What she never expected was that these people were like the most cunning jackals in the world. They never confronted hunters with shotguns head-on, but hid in the distance and observed secretly. Once there was any risk, they turned around and ran away... They didn't give her any chance to call for help.

——————————————————————————————————————

In the quiet early morning, there was a breeze and a bright moon.

In a remote open space behind the gas station, a dark blue transport truck was quietly parked in the corner closest to the forest. Four men were waiting nervously and impatiently at the front of the truck.

"Boss, will he come?" The short man was waiting impatiently, scratching his greasy hair from time to time, and couldn't help asking in a low voice.

The middle-aged man had a gloomy face. He stood under a small tree. The moonlight shone on his face through the leaves, flickering, and looked as uncertain as his face.

"He will come. He owes Granny Tiger a favor, so he will definitely come." But it is hard to say whether he can convince this man to take them out of the country.

Thinking of this man's usual methods and reputation in the underworld, the middle-aged man felt a little toothache, and the dry bread he swallowed at night seemed to start churning in his stomach, stirring his forehead with cold sweat.

"Boss, who is this guy? Such a big star? We have been waiting for almost six hours!" The other two men also asked impatiently and curiously. Anyone who is ordered to wait here for several hours will be a little angry, right?

The middle-aged man was silent for a while, and stretched out his hand to press his temple: "It can be said that if there are 100 small roads to leave the country, then this person must know the 101st one."

"He is not the only one who secretly took people out of the country. Why do we have to find him? At most, we can find someone to take us out of the border, and we can walk the rest of the way by ourselves..." The short man muttered.

The middle-aged man looked at him coldly:"We can't take the previous route now. Brother CHAN said that he didn't know what happened, but the whole line was taken over! We have to take another route to deliver the goods to the agreed connection point. Do you know how many armed villages we have to pass through? Without an acquaintance to lead the way, can you pass those minefields? Can you pass those swamps?"

"If he is willing to take this order, we can deliver the goods there safely. Brother CHAN said that the money he will give us this time is three times more than before!" The middle-aged man said in a low voice, holding his temper.

The three men smiled excitedly after hearing this. They only delivered two girls, but earned three times as much as before. This deal is worth it! They no longer felt that time was unbearable. They took out their lighters and were about to light a cigarette with their backs to the wind.

"He's coming!" The middle-aged man looked in the direction of the open space. The other three men immediately stood up and looked in the direction he pointed.

A black figure was walking slowly across the open space towards the side where the transport truck was parked. He was very tall, wearing a gray V-neck T-shirt, a pair of jeans that were washed a little bleached, with a black sun hat on his head. The low brim of the hat completely blocked his face. He put his hands in his trouser pockets and wore a pair of flip-flops on his feet. He walked lazily, as if he had just got up and was about to go out to buy breakfast.

Except for the middle-aged man, the other three were stunned.

"This person?" The short man was surprised. Although he couldn't see his face clearly, judging from his figure and clothes, he should be a very young man.

"Yes, it's him. I've only seen him once, but I can't possibly make a mistake." The middle-aged man looked at the boy who had walked to the truck without blinking.

"Are you looking for me?" The boy stopped a few meters away from them, his hands still in his trouser pockets, looking sloppy. Although his voice was a little hoarse, it was still audible that it was the voice of a teenager.

The short man half-opened his mouth, and the cigarette in his mouth almost fell to the ground.

The middle-aged man smiled apologetically and bowed slightly to the man:"Yes! I asked someone to invite you here, and the contact information was given to me by Granny Tiger!"

Although he couldn't see clearly, the middle-aged man could still feel that the man was smiling lightly under the shadow of the brim of his hat, as if he was a little disdainful.

"Tell me! How many of you are coming? What goods are you bringing?"

The middle-aged man bent his waist even lower, and a forced smile squeezed out of his seemingly honest face:"There are four of us, with two girls..."

"Bring people over? Two girls?" The boy suddenly interrupted him.

"I won't bring women who were sold over, and I won't bring drugs. Didn't the person who answered the phone tell you this?" The boy's voice suddenly turned cold, and the middle-aged man felt that the wind blowing on his body seemed to carry a knife.

"This... I really have no choice but to find you. That... the price is negotiable. We'll double it. How about it?" His waist almost bent to the ground, and a bean-sized bead of sweat rolled from his forehead to the mud.

"Forget it this time, next time, don't let me see you again." The boy suddenly straightened up slowly, making his figure more upright and slender, but his whole person became arrogant and indifferent. Compared with his lazy appearance just now, he was like two different people.

"If you don't accept the toast, you will be..." The short man held a cigarette in his mouth and cursed indistinctly. Damn, after waiting for several hours, this kid actually rejected them? He has never been humiliated like this before!

The moment he said this, he felt a figure sway in front of him, a flash of white light, and a chill from the tip of his nose to his mouth. The short man blinked, and his lips trembled. He still had a cigarette holder in his mouth, but the cigarette had been cut off by a dagger at his lips! A small piece of flesh at the tip of the nose was cut off, and a stream of warm blood slowly flowed from under the nose into the mouth...

The boy was still standing there, with his hands still in his trouser pockets. He moved so quickly, like a poisonous snake stinging the other person at lightning speed, and then immediately returned to his original state. Others had no time to stop him, let alone dodge.

"Ah...!!" The short man felt the severe pain from the tip of his nose, and couldn't help but reach out to touch it, and then screamed in shock and anger.

"Pa!" The man next to the short man was about to draw the knife from his waist, but was slapped hard.

"My subordinates are ignorant, I'm sorry!" The middle-aged man retracted his hand, forced a smile and turned around, gritted his teeth and begged, "Please help us once for the sake of Granny Tiger! The price..."

Before he finished speaking, the boy in front of him bending down slightly and speaking almost close to his ear: "I owe her a favor, so I'm here now, but I'm not interested in helping you..."

The boy spoke slowly, and because he was close, a charming pale face was revealed under the brim of his black hat. The face was a little pale, with narrow eyes slightly upturned, and two bloodless thin lips under the high nose bridge. This boy looked only eighteen or nineteen years old, with extremely feminine and handsome facial features!

After the boy finished speaking, he slowly retracted his forward leaning body and smiled slightly. The middle-aged man's eyes twitched as if he was bitten by a snake, and he could no longer speak.

The boy glanced at a few people coldly, turned around and left.

"Bang!...Bang! Bang!..." Just as the boy was walking back in his slippers, a dull collision sound suddenly came from the front of the blue transport truck. The sound was not loud, but in the quiet early morning, it was as clear as the sound of raindrops dripping on plastic sheets.
