As the shoot with Hachiman-trainer was about to start, I felt a flutter of nerves. How would they pose us? What would Hachiman-trainer do? Waiting for the director's cue, I wondered…
Director: "Hiki-trainer, please escort Fuji Kiseki-san by taking her hand and walking together. Fuji Kiseki-san, stay by his side."
Pretty standard stuff, huh? It's just a photoshoot—no point expecting anything wild.
Hachiman: "Alright, let's give it a shot." He offers his hand.
"…" I froze.
What's this? My arm won't move… No, it's more than that. Seeing Hachiman-trainer from this angle—he looks good///
Hachiman: "…Fuji?"
"! S-Sorry, zoned out," I stammered. "Um… please escort me?"
Hachiman: "Don't expect a real gentleman's escort."
We circled the set a few times, shutters snapping. They tweaked the setup for more shots, and it went smoothly.
Director: "Nice work, Hiki-trainer, Fuji Kiseki-san! Those were fantastic shots!"
Hachiman: "Good to know."
Director: "Fuji Kiseki-san, keep the outfit on. Hiki-trainer, please change again."
Hachiman: "More changing…?"
"Busy day, huh, Hachiman-trainer?" I teased. "I'm gonna take a quick break—whoa!?"
Hachiman: "Careful!" He caught me. "Not used to heels, huh? You okay?"
"Y-Yeah///" I mumbled.
I tripped, stumbling forward, and Hachiman-trainer caught me—my face buried in his chest by accident///
"S-Sorry, Hachiman-trainer///" I said.
Hachiman: "Don't worry about it. Falling flat would've been worse."
"Haha…///" I laughed nervously.
Snap!!
Hachiman/Fuji: "Huh?"
Staff: "S-Sorry! It was too perfect, I couldn't help snapping a shot…"
Fuji: "Hmm… Can I see it?"
Staff: "Y-Yes!"
What kind of photo did they catch? Kinda exciting… Wait, that's me!?
"…Can you print this one?" I asked.
Staff: "Of course!!"
Hachiman: "? (Whatever, time to change.)"
Fuji Kiseki's POV Out
Hachiman's POV
Now a white tuxedo… "What's next?" I asked.
Staff: "You probably guessed, but the next theme's marriage. Hence the tux."
"Marriage, huh?" I said. "Would've been better in June."
Staff: "Don't say that…"
"So Air Groove's in a wedding dress?" I asked.
Staff: "Exactly. She's gonna look stunning."
Knowing her, she'd rock anything—as long as it's not tacky.
Air Groove: "Hachiman, done with Fuji's shoot?"
"Yeah," I said. "Your solo shoot's…?"
Staff: "Wow…"
Air Groove's outfit… I knew it was a wedding dress, but this? Like Fuji's, it's designed not to hinder racing, but it's more than that. Her natural beauty shines even brighter, almost blinding.
Air Groove: "…What do you think, Hachiman?"
"…It suits you," I said.
Air Groove: "That one line tells me you're a bit dazed."
"So what?" I muttered.
Air Groove: "Nothing wrong with it. That tux looks good on you too."
Director: "Air Groove-san, thanks for the solo shots! We got some great ones. Now, please, for the two-shot with Hiki-trainer!"
Air Groove: "Understood."
Hachiman: "Let's do this."
The shoot wasn't much different from Fuji's, so it was easy. I'm fine with less hassle, though I'm not sure if I'm cut out for this.
"Phew… Done," I said.
Air Groove: "Indeed. Unfamiliar tasks are exhausting. And those flashes, even if weak…"
"You hate those, huh?" I said. "So, lightning or sudden bright lights mess you up?"
Air Groove: "Yes… Thunderstorms have been a nightmare. Don't ever shine a light at me, got it?"
"As if I would," I said. "Or is that a setup?"
Air Groove: "If you take it that way, I'll retaliate. Be ready."
"The Empress's revenge? Way too scary. I'm not doing it," I said.
Air Groove: "Heh, wise choice."
Snap!!
Hachiman/Air Groove: "?"
Staff: "S-Sorry… It was too good, I pressed the shutter."
Same guy as before, huh? Total schemer. You did that on purpose, didn't you? C'mon, admit it—I won't get mad. You planned this, right? Right?
