Almost 9 PM. CB's call soon. Tomorrow 3 PM there—11:30 PM Japan—for Irish 2000 Guineas. Why everyone filed overnight stays at my place? No dorm viewing?

Hachiman: "Good. 1600m—your wheelhouse. Careful: all at Curragh—Plate, Derby, Inner courses. 2000 Guineas straight—your nightmare."

Rice: "Who?"
Hachiman: "All possible. Air Groove post-Twinkle to Dream Trophy—no."
Maurice: "Me too! Overseas pitch!"
Hachiman: "Later. CB support? Debut overseas—low odds."
Fuji: "How low?"
Hachiman: "12 runners—9th fav. Graded wins, no GⅠ—expected."

Calm… no—itching to run.
Announcer: 'Set!! Irish 2000 Guineas—START! Clean! CB last—rear chase!'
Fuji: "Okay? Chase aptitude—but Euro turf hard, power-needed?"
Hachiman: "Yeah. Gentle curve—chase-unfriendly. Long straight—catchable."
Rice: "A-Ahh… Go CB-san!"
Announcer: 'Under 400m—burst! Lead: Iorun! Silent Dale, Etoiler closing!! Outer: Mr. CB insane kick!!!'
Maurice: "W-What!?"
Rice: "Insane…"

Announcer: 'CB tops!! Widens!! Silent Dale/Iorun duel 2nd!! 100m: CB relaxed!! Smiling goal!! Unbelievable!! Monster!! Mr. CB crushes Irish 2000 Guineas!!!'

Fuji: "Yeah."
