Chapter 380 - Chapter 381: Working Man Supernova

"Before going out to have fun, we still have to deal with these guys' problems first..."

Returning to the Red-Light District, Orin brought Sammi and Hawkins together to the place where the Supernovas were being held.

Aside from Luffy and Zoro, the rest were all shackled with high-purity Seastone and forced into the same prison cell.

"This is the so-called Worst Generation? Just a bunch of kids, not that evil~"

Standing idly in front of the cell, the Supernovas all glared at Orin with burning hatred.

"If you want to kill me or torture me, then do it! I'll never bow to you!!!"

Kid was still stubborn— even after losing an arm, his attitude didn't change.

"Kid, if you don't want to drag us down and make us die with you, then stop provoking."

Law leaned against the wall, sitting as he lifted his gloomy gaze toward Kid in the distance.

"..."

The rest of the Supernovas didn't speak, but they all stared at Orin warily.

"Well... don't look at me like that. After all, I'm not exactly a bad person~ Time to work. The damages in the Sabaody Archipelago will all be counted on you."

Orin quickly lost interest in them— at least for now.

This so-called "Worst Generation" wasn't even qualified to force him to use Haki.

Too fragile— too easy to break by accident.

Orin was the kind of guy who liked to uproot anyone who might become a threat, but at this point, no one in the world could threaten him anymore.

"Before you pay off your debt, you can try to escape. But if I catch you— prepare for a complete party wipe~"

Leaving those words behind, Orin simply walked off.

Hawkins took charge of guarding and supervising them.

He pulled out a small notebook and began reading aloud to everyone:

"Jewelry Bonney: ate food without paying, caused a loss of 200,000 Belly, wash dishes for three days..."

"Capone Bege: damaged houses and the ground, caused a loss of 10 million Belly, watch the place with your subordinates for three months..."

"Eustass Kid: destroyed houses and ground, caused Yarukiman Mangrove collapse, participate in giant tree restoration and various labor for half a year..."

"Wait!!!"

Hearing Hawkins say that, Kid's face bulged with veins, his eyes practically shooting flames.

"The mangrove collapsed because Black Gun chopped it down himself!!!"

Hawkins faced the accusation with a calm response:

"Orin-san holds the right of explanation."

"Bastard!!!"

...

"Hahahahahaha! How outrageous! That guy Orin actually wiped out every Supernova on the Sabaody Archipelago?!!!"

Crunch crunch—

Marine Headquarters, Marineford.

Inside the Fleet Admiral's office, Garp munched on senbei as he laughed at the intelligence spread across Sengoku's desk.

"Your grandson is also on that list, Garp..."

Sengoku sipped his tea, staring at the thick-skinned old man.

"He's already a living legend on the seas, yet he still has time to mess around with a bunch of rookies. Should I say this truly matches Orin's personality?"

"The upcoming large-scale war with Whitebeard— Orin will be a huge variable. I just don't know if he'll give the World Government any respect..."

Garp casually picked his nose, looking completely unconcerned.

"A man like him would never coexist peacefully with those World Government guys~"

Though deep down, he was secretly hoping Orin did interfere— because that would mean Ace could be rescued.

"Garp, you bastard— you've been hoping Fire Fist Ace gets rescued from the start!!!"

"Eh!!!?"

Garp looked shocked— as if caught red-handed— scratching the back of his head awkwardly.

"Ah... hahaha, no such thoughts from this old man."

Of course Sengoku didn't believe that.

Arms crossed, he scolded:

"Abandon those unrealistic hopes, Garp."

"The World Government will soon invite the Shichibukai and Orin to attend the meeting. And Orin already agreed to show up, so most likely nothing unexpected will happen."

After speaking, Sengoku noticed Garp fall silent— and although he felt a twinge of sympathy—he was still the Fleet Admiral.

In this rampaging era, the Marines needed a massive war and a decisive victory to cool the world down. That was the World Government's will.

And the son of Roger, combined with the weight of the Whitebeard Pirates— served that purpose perfectly.

...

Elsewhere—

Inside the royal city of Duramos,

A figure flashed into existence above the palace, then crashed straight downward with force.

Instantly, countless eyes turned toward that silhouette.

Once they recognized him, silence returned.

Until a group of soldiers arrived and discovered him—

"Oh? What's going on???"

Inside the palace, old Keek— enjoying retirement— heard noise outside.

Bored, he decided to go check personally.

"Who is this?"

He approached the fallen man and observed closely— at first he didn't recognize him.

But when he saw the straw hat— his eyes trembled violently.

"This is... Roger's..."

"Uh..."

Luffy slowly opened his eyes, blinking at the little old man standing in front of him.

"Who are you? No wait!!! My crew!!!"

Luffy tried to spring up, but was immediately pinned down by several guards.

These guards were all Haki experts stationed to protect old Keek— each at least at Vice Admiral level.

Not because they couldn't afford stronger protectors— but because there was no need.

Anyone reckless would be handled easily—and those who were truly strong understood the consequences of laying a hand on the old man.

"Let me go!!!"

After making noise for quite a while, Keek finally understood the situation— this brat was sent by his beloved grandson.

And once he learned that—old Keek burst into hearty laughter.

"The inheritor of Roger's will— and my grandson stepped on him with ease! Ahahahaha!!!"

He then ordered them to bring Luffy back to the palace.

"Calm down, kid."

"Roger... was never someone who would collapse from something like this."

Though they were once mortal enemies—after all these years, Keek understood that Roger played no small role in Orin's growth.

And he was already dead— so thinking it over—

Roger was indeed a man worthy of recognition.

At least— the Rocks Pirates, whom Keek once placed his hopes in, eventually fell apart due to disunity.

While the Roger Pirates valued comrades above all— that alone earned Keek's respect.

If the Rocks Pirates had been like that back then— he might have witnessed Rocks become the King of the World.

Later—

Although Orin didn't inherit Roger's will— which pleased Keek—not just anyone could use his old enemy's name for clout.

Just as Keek turned his head, ready to say more—the scene before him made him freeze.

The boy's figure overlapped perfectly with his memory of Roger—

Luffy suddenly dropped to his knees before him, without a shred of pride—

"Please, old man, let me go find my friends!!!"
