He gestures for us to follow him out of the room after that. Eventually we make it to a small room away from the main hall.
"Nobody really gives information about that here because it usually means that we'll be killed." He says with a serious tone.
Eliza doesn't seem to be phased by this in the slightest. "You won't be killed. We are planning to take care of this Lord." Eliza responds with a confident, yet serious tone.
"I'm just supposed to trust you because you're from the church? That's not really how it works around here and you know that. We've not had anyone who can actually do something in years." He says with disbelief in his voice.
It is kind of hard to believe that people want to take care of something if it hasn't been done in years to begin with. I'd be feeling the same way as him if the positions were reversed here.
