EPISODE 5
It happened around 3:13 AM.
Elisa sat up in bed—not from a noise, but from a feeling.
Like someone had whispered her name.
But the room was quiet. Her hands were cold. Her heart beat strangely slow, like she wasn't fully awake.
The hallway outside her door glowed faintly, though no one had turned on the light.
Her feet moved on their own.
Down the corridor. Past the mirror. Past the door with no handle.
She didn't feel scared… just distant, like she was walking through a memory that wasn't hers.
Then she stopped.
In front of Room 13.
The keypad beside it blinked once. Then shut off.
And for just a second—she thought she saw someone inside.
A girl.
Standing near the window. Back turned.
Same height. Same hair.
Then the hallway light flickered… and the image was gone.
Elisa blinked hard.
Suddenly she was back in her room, standing by her bed.
Had she dreamed it?
---
The next morning, she tried to shake it off. She told herself she imagined it. But all day, her hands wouldn't stop shaking.
She was assigned to clean the library.
Polished wood. Heavy books. Silence so thick it pressed on her shoulders.
That's when she saw it.
A drawer—slightly open.
Inside: a black notebook.
No title. No name. Just a folded photo stuck inside.
---
Three girls.
Smiling in the mansion's garden.
And one of them… looked exactly like Elisa.
Same hair. Same face. Same dimple in her right cheek.
But it wasn't her.
She had never taken that photo.
Her throat tightened. Her fingers froze.
---
Before she could think, footsteps.
The boy appeared in the doorway.
"You found the drawer," he said. Not a question.
Elisa hid the notebook. "I was just—"
"I know what you saw," he said, walking closer.
"Who is she?"
