Jay Jay's POV
" Wait, Celine what do you mean? She's dead, you know that." I asked, my head spinning.
" Jay Jay, I swear on my pet turtle 🐢, she's alive. She called me yesterday." Celine said. I knew she would never lie if it was about her turtle.
" Give me her number." I said and at that second she forwarded me the number.
I called it. It was ringing and then someone spoke.
" Hello?" The person on the other line said
" Umm hello, whose number is this?" I asked.
" Jane, Miss Serina's assistant, how may I help you?" Jane said. When I heard her name and I dropped to my knees.
" Is it possible if I could talk to her?" I asked.
" Ofcourse, just one moment." She said and put the phone on hold.
Then her voice.
" Hello?" I heard Tita Serina say. Before I knew it tears started streaming down.
" Tita?" I asked and I heard a gasp from the other end.
" Jay Jay? Is that really you?" Tita said and I couldn't believe she remembered me.
" Tita, I thought you were dead, I thought he killed you, where were you?–" I started pouring questions on her.
" Jay dear, I can't explain like this, let's meet up. Today evening, at The Dorchester." She said.
" Sounds like a plan." I said.
Then she hanged up.
A swarm of emotions came all together, sadness, happiness, confusion and anger.
Anger because she didn't tell anyone she was alive. All this time I thought she was dead but no she was alive and healthy.
Evening ( at The Dorchester)
I waited there in the cafe with my warm coffee. Then someone tapped me on the back. Tita Serina. I saw the her warm smile, her hair perfect like before and stylish clothes, but on her head was scar. The scar from Kaizer, thank god he's dead
" Tita!" I exclaimed and I hugged her like if I let go she would disappear again.
" Jay Jay! Oh look at you you're all grown up! So beautiful." She exclaimed as well.
When we stopped hugging she wipped my tears off my cheek.
Then we both sat down and she ordered an iced Americano.
" How have you been?" She asked, softly.
" Good, and you." I asked
" Amazing." She said, with a smile on her face. Then I decided to break the ice.
" Where have you been all these years?" I asked.
" It's a long story." She said.
" I have all the time in the world." I said and she smiled.
" I had lawyers, secret assistants and a small company before Keifer was even born. So when my legal team found out about what Kaizer did, they rushed me to the hospital and saved me." She said.
" Why didn't you call anyone after you recovered? Not even a text like 'Hey I'm alive' that would've been nice." I said sarcastically and she chuckled.
" I was in a coma, I woke up after 3 years. When I woke up, I was presumed dead with me being alive. Kaizer never cared for me so he just told everyone I was dead, including my own sons." She said and my heart ached.
" Tita... I can't imagine,but you don't have to worry, Kaizer is dead. He won't hurt you any more." I said, and shock was written all over her expression.
" Who killed him?" She asked, hesitantly. Not knowing the beast was her own son and me.
" Me and Keifer." I said. I was expecting a scolding or something else but instead she hugged me.
" Thank you for saving me from the devil." She said.
When we let go. We just looked at eachother like this moment wasn't happening. Like it was a figment of our imagination.
" So, how did meet Keifer again?" Tita asked her tone a little pushy.
" At school." I answered short and sweet.
" Oh come on! You have to spill! I need every small detail and ALL THE TEA!" She said, like she was talking to her bestfriend and not someone twice as young as her
Then I told her everything from when I entered Section E and how they were a bunch of Assholes and how they slowly became family. Then about Keifer's plan and why hedid that.
Her expression was to die for. Her eyes looked like they'd pop out any second. Her jaw dropped.
"I swear when I see this boy, I'll teach him a lesson! But seriously this is would be a killer kdrama, I mean I would watch it." She said and we laughed. We spent the rest of the evening catching up, laughing and more embarrassing things about Keifer.
But then she asked the million dollar question.
" Sooo are you and Keifer dating?" She asked, a smirk tugging her lips.
I stayed silent but then I nodded.
" Ahhhhh, yes!!! I've dreamed about this so many times!" She exclaimed. She was so happy. It looked like she won the lottery.
" Oh I'm so happy to have you as my daughter in law!!" She exclaimed.
I practically chocked on air. Daughter in law?! Well like Mother like son. They really are the same.
