Becca's eyes narrowed, curiosity sparking. Liara tilted her head, silent but intrigued.
And just like that, all three of them were suddenly more interested in what had happened in that office than in Tracy's spell.
"Does it mean that we aren't going to play hero and save the day again? Why are you all digressing from our mission?" I asked them in a shaky and high-pitched tone.
"You are the one trying to shift the subject, just tell us what took you so long in the duel master's office, and maybe we can go back to playing heroes," Liara stated blatantly but accusingly, quirking her eyebrows.
"Besides, we want to hear something interesting to cool off this tension," Becca added.
"Well, I'm not a comedian who eases tension," I said, directing my gaze to Becca.
