Aven's POV
"He is with some other members of the casino in the dungeon," he replied, his voice shaking in between.
Just precisely the place I suspected he would be.
We moved directly to the entrance of the underground dungeon. There were guards stationed there, too.
"Only important businesses are handled down there. You need to be a VIP to get in," the guard said, and just like the other guard, this one was like a robot, if not worse.
"Important business, huh?" Damon replied to him in a voice that wore sarcasm.
"And you think we aren't here for important business too," I asked, removing my shades.
By the shocked expression on his face, I'm sure he recognized me the instant I pulled off my shades.
"Alpha Av…" he started to say, but I cut him off abruptly, didn't want to draw any unwanted attention. Besides, I'm looking for traitors, and if they found out that I'm here, they would find a better way to hide.
