"The air felt weird between you and the Alpha successors today. What is happening between you four?" Liara teased.
"Nothing, except that they are just being their typical selves. We are meant to be reading, not discussing the Alpha successors," I sharply reprimanded her.
I wasn't comfortable discussing my mates, especially not now that it seems like we weren't getting along like before.
Their attitude towards me today was off, even from the laboratory to the sick bay; maybe it was because they assumed I was avoiding them.
But why am I this worried about their attitude towards me?, They have always been snobbish individuals, and I really don't like them as my mates.
"Are you trying to convince yourself that the mate pull doesn't bother you, or are you suffering from the thought that they may reject us. I don't want them to reject us," Athena weened softly.
