Andria's POV
The sound cracked through the hallway again.
A sharp, violent pop, like wood splintering under pressure.
Everyone stiffened, including Professor Garrich, who was just trying to stage an accusation against me.
My breath hitched.
That sound came from the direction of Sir Kaelric's office.
Where Liara and Jackson were supposed to be locked up.
Allison's grip on my arm tightened until it almost hurt. "Aria… that came from his office, right?"
I swallowed hard, forcing my voice to be steady"Yeah. It did."
Sir Kaelric had already turned sharply, eyes narrowing in the direction of the corridor. Although he tried so hard to conceal it, I could tell that he was just as shocked as we were.
His aura and presence shifted slightly as he tensed up, ready to charge back to his office to know what had gone wrong.
"Stay here," he ordered.
But before he could take a step, the headmistress raised a hand. "Kaelric, wait…"
