Zade's POV
"Ari, just know that I won't stop loving you," I muttered under my breath, disappointed and unable to look at her.
She didn't turn back; she just stood before the door for a few seconds as if she were trying to digest my words, then opened the door and left.
A part of me wanted her to turn back and stay, but I knew that was just a fantasy.
I had hurt Andria, the only female wolf I had ever loved.
But there was still this lingering connection between us, apart from the mate bond; I could feel it anytime I touched her.
I would visit the Falcons with the same treatment they had lashed out at Andria, forcing her to change her identity to escape their cruel hands.
I would start with the parents.
My phone rang, and I rushed to pick it up from the dining table, where I had left it while preparing breakfast for Ari.
It was Sir Kaelric.
"How is Ari now?" He asked, worry lacing his tone.
"She is ok. She just left my apartment," I replied calmly, heading to my room.
