Chapter 249 - The tragedy behind the identity

Andria's POV 

I returned to myself, realizing what I had just done and what I had almost done. I shivered a little, looking at the practically drained witch with pity.

"Will she be alright?" I asked.

"Yes, she would. She wouldn't have been if I hadn't intervened," Lady Eskareth replied with a sad tone.

I looked at the other witches, who wore frightened, sad expressions.

"You have such a large appetite for a teenage vampire," then she paused as if she just remembered something. 

"Anyway, the teenagers always have the most appetite."

We walked out of the room, and she led me to another chamber. The chamber looked sacred. As soon as we got in, the witch who was in there before we came stood up and left.

"This is a quiet chamber, meant for meditation or quiet discussions. You can't stay more than an hour in here, even if you are tempted to. And there can't be more than two beings in here," she explained, walking to the seat.
