Issei returned home, completely exhausted. His body felt strangely drained, and his mind was teetering on the edge, he shook his head slightly.
Kiryuu's call had been the final straw, "This girl has been acting in such a way..." he muttered to himself in frustration, walking calmly down the street, glancing at the houses around him.
"I have to punish her and show her who the man in the relationship is," Issei said, patting his chest with a kind of unmatched confidence before quickening his pace.
He looked ahead with a hint of curiosity, quickening his steps, "It's going to rain soon," he said while glancing at the cloudy sky, and before long, he reached his house.
His eyes narrowed upon seeing the front door ajar, he quickly entered and closed it behind him, there was something strange in the atmosphere.
Issei walked forward, toward the interior door of his house. He opened it with a slight push, inside, the house felt empty, somewhat lifeless, there was a strange sensation in the air.
He moved calmly, eventually reaching the kitchen, "Everything's clean, nothing here, it's... empty," Issei observed his kitchen, perfectly organized, all utensils in place, the pots and pans neatly stacked in a corner.
Clatter
A small sound quickly caught the boy's attention. He turned his head to the side, and there, entering from the living room, his mother appeared, she smiled upon seeing him and walked toward Issei.
"Son... it's good to see you, Where have you been? Where did you go?" Mrs. Hyoudou hugged him tightly.
"I..." Issei couldn't find the words, he simply accepted his mother's embrace.
"Son, your girlfriend has been in your room for a while, we've tried talking to her, but she won't respond, we thought about calling the police..." Mrs. Hyoudou began explaining how Kiryuu had locked herself in his room.
"She started screaming, locking herself in your room, yelling your name and then muttering some things under her breath," Mrs. Hyoudou seemed quite scared.
"She's insane..." Mrs. Hyoudou said, "Your father went to get help from the local police since they weren't answering the phone, seems there are some problems," she explained, Issei narrowed his eyes.
"I'm going up, Mom," he said, she hugged him tighter and shook her head gently, whispering, "Let the police handle it."
But Issei didn't believe in that, his eyes began to glow faintly, his pupils dilated, and his mind entered a chaotic state.
He, Issei, had known this girl Kiryuu for a while, and she was the one with whom he had his first sexual experience. Although that experience wasn't pleasant, for Issei, it meant more than just a relationship.
"Mom," he whispered. He had formed a special bond with Kiryuu, despite everything—her obsessive jealousy and erratic behavior, he believes that he really loves her
Issei narrowed his eyes, the pulsing sensation and pressure in his heart only grew stronger with time. He clenched his teeth and, with a precise strike, knocked his mother unconscious.
"Sorry, but I had to... I used the minimum force possible, I won't hurt you, Mom, but I can't let Kiryuu go to jail..." Issei murmured, quickly carrying his mother's unconscious body to a sofa before rushing up the stairs.
Knock knock
Issei knocked on the door of his room once upstairs, he narrowed his eyes, cleared his throat, and said, "Kiryuu, it's me..." There was a slight moment of silence in the room before several things were heard falling inside, followed by footsteps, and finally, the door began to open.
When the door opened, Kiryuu looked at Issei, her eyes were completely red, her body covered in multiple injuries, and her shiny red lips formed a slight smile.
"My love..." she murmured, clenching her teeth, balling her fists, and finally locking eyes with Issei, "I thought you had run off with someone else and weren't coming back, so, so, so..." Kiryuu began to stutter.
Issei suddenly embraced her tightly, his heart couldn't bear to see Kiryuu acting this way. His soul was torn apart tenfold by every wound on her body, his eyes turned a deep red as countless ways to make it up to her raced through his mind.
"I'd never leave you, my love..." Issei murmured, hugging her almost too tightly. But instead of being uncomfortable, she returned the hug with all her strength.
"Issei... Who were the girls that spoke to you when I called?" Kiryuu asked, tightening her grip around Issei. Her eyes narrowed as she stomped the floor with almost too much force.
"I..." Issei paused for a moment before smiling and shaking his head, "I'll tell you the truth, Kiryuu, I... am a demon," he said, then proceeded to explain his true identity.
Issei unfolded his wings, showed her his strength, his demonic abilities, his regeneration, everything. Kiryuu, on her part, watched all of this as if it were a dream come true.
Kiryuu's mind raced through several emotions, from initial surprise to shock, doubt, and finally, acceptance, she looked at Issei, saw his wings, reached out, and touched them.
"Warm..." she murmured softly, smiling. She didn't quite know how to process all the information she had just received, so she simply stayed there, caressing the edges of Issei's wings.
"The ones with me were the girls from the same Peerage I belong to: Rias Gremory, the leader, and Akeno Himejima..." Issei finished explaining, Kiryuu nodded several times, smiling at him.
"So, you're a demon under another high-ranking demon, the high-ranking demon leading you is Rias Gremory..." Kiryuu repeated. She believed Issei's words, smiled joyfully after a moment, and finally sighed.
"You know, you telling me all this really makes me feel... special," she said, rubbing her cheek against the edge of Issei's wings.
"Am I the only one you've told this to?" she asked, Issei nodded repeatedly, then once more, she smiled, showing her white teeth, "Then, then, Issei..." Kiryuu blushed.
"Can we do it while you're transformed as a demon?" she asked, lowering her head in embarrassment, covering her face with both palms, and speaking almost temptingly.
There was a brief moment of silence, which was quickly broken by Issei's laughter.
"Of course, I..." Issei was about to say something when he heard the police sirens outside, so, he quickly hugged Akira.
"You have to leave, my dad came back with the police," he murmured.
However, Kiryuu narrowed her eyes, "But I didn't do anything wrong other than screaming in here..." those words brought clarity to Issei's mind.
"That's right, you didn't do anything wrong, so, so... Shit!!!" Issei shouted, "Why did I knock out my mom if Kiryuu didn't do anything wrong and wouldn't go to jail for this?" he asked himself, practically scolding himself in his mind.
"Issei..." Kiryuu murmured, hugging him and smiling quietly. Meanwhile, in poor Issei's mind, Ddraig's voice echoed with a loud, clear "Hahahahaha!"
