Kuroka moved quickly, her body almost completely disappearing as she advanced, the hair on her ears and tail bristling, striking Kiba's swords with a weapon similar to a small knife.
Kuroka's strength, still superior, was enough to generate a small shockwave that sent Kiba a couple of meters back. "Hmph," however, when her small dagger struck the boy's swords, she sensed something different in the atmosphere.
She let out a slight sigh, looked ahead, and watched with almost cold and absolute surprise as the boy quickly recovered and charged at her again.
"What?" She opened her eyes wide, but before she could react or say anything, Koneko had appeared in front of her, Koneko's powerful fist striking her in the stomach.
Impact
"Graaghh!!!" Kuroka let out a powerful roar of pain as Koneko's blow broke through her defenses and almost caused her internal organs to explode. She was sent flying dozens of meters backward as she spat blood.
"F-fuck, wh-what was that?" she wondered, closing her eyes in pain while still in the air, but without even a moment to rest, Kiba stepped forward, appeared above her, and swung his sword ferociously.
Kuroka saw him, the yellowish-green-haired boy appeared in front of her with a sword in his hands, the sword came down sharply. It was like a flash to her, a sudden descent, a casual movement, the boy, Kiba, with a single movement cut off her arm, separating it from her body.
"Y-you're... j-joking..." Kuroka thought, not knowing when Koneko had made such powerful friends. She quickly moved her head to the side only to see the stump of her arm spurting blood.
Dread overwhelmed her, her eyes began to dilate as her teeth looked increasingly ferocious.
"You're kidding!!!!" she screamed as she fell to her feet, but just then Koneko had already appeared behind her.
Kuroka felt it, a chill ran down her spine, a strange feeling invaded her body, her mind, she tried to turn around forcefully, but before she could do that, Koneko had already made her move.
Koneko got up quickly, took a small jump, moved her arm, and with an expressionless face, hit Kuroka's head hard.
This blow quickly transported Kuroka to a strange world. She lost control of her body, and the world became silent, colorless, and without her.
Before the two-tailed cat girl could even think about it, the thing she had been running from for so long had arrived so quickly that she would never have imagined it, even in her wildest dreams.
Kuroka never thought about it, there was no reason to, she would never have thought that her little sister would kill her. She had always considered her someone to protect, and yet she never bothered to tell her the truth about what had happened.
Time seemed to slow down. Koneko watched as her sister was pushed several meters to the side by the force of her blow, falling dozens of meters behind with her neck completely shattered.
Koneko thought about what her sister had done when she was little, about the reasons why she had tried to kill her for so long.
"It's over, the past, the past no longer exists," Koneko thought, feeling immense relief in her heart.
She had finally killed her sister, and yet, as cruel and ruthless as that phrase may sound, she sat down on the grass, letting herself fall, and looked up at the sky.
The wind gently ruffled her hair as she gazed at the morning sun. As she lay there, Kiba watched her with mixed feelings and emotions on his face. Irina and Xenovia, who hadn't even had a chance to fight, remained in their positions, also looking up at the sky.
Koneko watched the sun with increasing strangeness, blinking from time to time. Despite everything, a thought settled in her mind like a plague: "Why did I want to kill my sister?"
Questioning the reason was something recent. Before, she had really only had her sister's death in mind, but why?
Koneko tilted her head and breathed in the forest air somewhat rapidly. She seemed to be about to do something. She didn't really know why she had wanted to kill her sister. "That... thought appeared after fighting that strange demon, or..." She narrowed her eyes.
Koneko thought about it. She had never wanted to kill her sister, even when she was younger, and the wound of her being a traitor was more painful. Instead, that feeling had emerged more strongly since Kiba's death.
She lowered her head to look at the grass and then at Kuroka's body a few feet away from her. She reached out her hand slightly, as if from that distance she could touch the edge of her older sister's clothes.
An empty feeling came over her, "Is this wrong?" she wondered, her heart beginning to fill with an endless emptiness that seemed to swallow everything, from her motivations to her deepest emotions.
Suddenly, Koneko found herself enveloped in an emotional void, her eyes began to shine, and before she knew it, tears began to run down her cheeks.
"No... this is so wrong, this is not how it should be, there is something strange here," she muttered. She felt that there was something wrong with the world, that this should never have happened, and the mere thought of it overwhelmed her.
"Koneko!" Kiba ran over to see if his little friend was okay.
The next day in the underworld.
"Lord Lucifer, I request the complete opening of the gates of hell to fight Orochimaru on earth!" one of the leaders of the main demons shouted.
"Lord Lucifer, the underworld has been too quiet lately, the Fallen Angels through Vali have shown which side they are on, the Angels are not responding to any calls, and the Nordics seem to have vanished, we request the complete release of the demons!" another clan leader said confidently.
"Lord Lucifer, it has been a couple of days since Orochimaru's last attack on Hokkaido, and although we do not know the exact information, I do well to ask, Where is Lord Uchiha?" one of the demons questioned.
A meeting of clan leaders was taking place in the underworld. All the current clan leaders had gathered to decide on swift actions to counter Orochimaru.
The news of the Snake's attack on Hokkaido had caught the attention of all the clan leaders, and listening to the report from Lord Beelzebub and Lady Leviathan, everyone in the underworld already knew that Orochimaru was a threat that had to be eliminated at all costs.
Sirzechs, sitting on the stage, looked at the entire parliament of demon clan leaders with his bright eyes. Although he appeared imposing and determined, he really did not know what to do.
"If I allow the gates of the underworld to open, then the demons will be able to freely enter the human world and the peace agreement will be broken," he muttered under his breath. Grayfia, sitting to his right, heard him, smiled, took his hand, and leaned in slightly to whisper.
"The Fallen Angels are allied with Orochimaru, and the Angels are not responding. Don't you think the peace agreement has already been broken?" Grayfia said, reminding Sirzechs of the latest events.
