The white-haired cat girl, whose hair had turned greenish and yellowish, looked out at the street through her window. Outside, all was quiet, and small gusts of cold wind blew in through the window, hitting her face.
"Kuroka..." Koneko murmured. It almost seemed as if something beyond, outside, behind the window she had decided to forge, was watching her. Then, with absolute serenity, she took a step forward, observed the cold passage outside with her eyes becoming increasingly sharp, and in one swift movement, jumped out the window, her destination... uncertain.
"This world is wrong... this world is wrong... this world is wrong..." the cat girl repeated to herself as she ran on all fours, her cat ears and tail growing larger and larger and her body taking on an even more feline tone.
....
On a quiet street in Kyoto.
Here, A group of high-level demons led by Rias Gremory had just eliminated and captured one of Orochimaru's lackeys, each of them celebrating with bright smiles on their faces, and Rias Gremory watching them with a pleased expression.
"I'm sure Itachi will appreciate this achievement, Right?" she muttered to herself. After all, at the end of the day, she couldn't help but smile like a madwoman whenever she was around Itachi.
Rias Gremory's thoughts were filled with various images of her being dominated by Itachi, him subduing her on a bed, making her his wife, as they spent their entire lives together, married.
Then, nothing else occupied her mind. Rias Gremory observed the high-level demons near them. "You will help me secure a bigger place in my Itachi's heart... hehehehe," she began to laugh like a madwoman in a low voice.
She didn't even notice the total absence of the members of her Peerage who had once shared so many life experiences with her. Her mind, formerly absorbed by a feeling of uncertainty and existential crisis, was now completely occupied by Itachi.
At the gates of heaven a couple of days later.
Here, Orochimaru had remained seated, using his body to channel chakra to the seed of the God Tree planted not far from him. Several revived by the high-level Edo-Tensei surrounded him with serious expressions, and not far from him, several Fallen Angels waited with absolute hope for the emergence of the God Tree.
"The demons haven't found us yet, that's good news, however, I can't say the same about an old friend..." Orochimaru, now with completely green skin and bright green hair, muttered softly, opened his eyes slightly, looked to the side at Ruvall Phenex, and said.
"Go, inform Azazel that he has to stop Itachi for at least an hour. Everyone else, go and help too. If he interrupts me now, then everything will have been a failure." With that said, Ruvall nodded and moved.
Ruvall's body turned into a greenish phoenix that quickly traveled a great distance in full view of everyone present.
As Ruvall warned everyone he passed that Lord Uchiha was about to arrive to attack, everyone prepared for battle.
Sitting in his seat, Orochimaru breathed calmly, occasionally moving his body from left to right as if he were relaxing.
"At least all the reincarnated should also go into battle, only you two stay here," Orochimaru looked at two high-level reincarnated and gave concise orders.
"Yes, Lord Orochimaru," both bowed and stood guard to Orochimaru's left and right.
The gate to heaven is located in a hidden place in China, in a vast, unexplored, and completely empty forest, where there is a giant temple that serves as an anchor point between Heaven and Earth.
Unlike the Fallen Angels, who settle in certain places around the world and use them as their base, or the demons, who have a separate dimensional plane for themselves, the Angels are a little different.
Heaven itself is a world connected to Earth that can be accessed through multiple spells that only Angels can use, or as God dictated in his time, through the temple in the middle of an immense forest that was once bright and vaunted, although in these times it has been forgotten.
Itachi had been searching for several days in abandoned Orochimaru bases and torturing some people who were witnesses to finally find the whereabouts of the temple.
At first, he was a little doubtful that the temple would really be the gateway to heaven that would open at the moment of the apocalypse, but with little to lose, he decided to move toward that gate.
Itachi flew through the sky like lightning at high speed, breaking the wind as he advanced and generating a strange noise.
The two enormous wings behind him, several times larger than himself, did not move, and his chakra was still contained.
"The time has finally come," Itachi murmured, looking at the temple more than a hundred kilometers away from him and smiling slightly. "You... Orochimaru, you should not have come into this world. You are a threat," he whispered to himself before picking up his pace.
However, just a dozen kilometers away, a transparent square barrier suddenly rose around the temple, and a thick, powerful voice was heard coming from inside the temple.
"You have entered the territory of the Fallen Angels, retreat now!!!" The voice sounded certainly peculiar. If Sirzechs had been here, he would probably have thought of Azazel upon hearing that voice.
"Retreat?" Itachi smiled, raised his left hand, ignored the voice's warning, and quickly moved both hands, "Fire Style: Hell!!!" Just a couple of miles away from the temple, Itachi inhaled and then blew thousands of small fireballs that charged like tiny missiles toward the magical barrier.
Inside the magic barrier, Azazel watched this with slightly narrowed eyes. At first glance, it looked like hailstones of fire falling from the sky at high speed. "The condensation of magic in that attack is... strange," he licked his lips.
"Team 4, you need to reinforce the amount of magic you use in the barrier, at least double what you are using now!" Azazel gave concrete and direct orders.
The next moment.
Crash
Crash
Tens of thousands of small fireballs slammed into the barrier, each generating a small shockwave and explosion. Not only that, but inside the barrier, thousands of Fallen Angels and hundreds of reincarnated beings felt a powerful pressure coming from the sky.
The sound was overwhelming, hundreds of small explosions shook the barrier, sending a strange feeling to the Fallen Angels who had prepared themselves for the coming battle, causing them to pale.
"Sir, the attack is..." Penemue behind Azazel muttered with genuine surprise, clenching his hands into two small, tightly closed fists.
"Listen, my brothers!" Azazel shouted loudly, using magic to make his voice heard even several miles away.
"The enemy is here, they have reached our gates, they are pounding on our entrance, they have decided to take the initiative and attack us with everything they have!" Azazel paused to look at the barrier that seemed about to give way.
"Do not fear!!! For the reward is the home our father built for us!!!" Azazel spread his wings and unleashed his full magical power, as did Penemue and the other Cadres.
"If the enemy wants to come, then let them come. We Fallen Angels are not cowards!" Azazel shouted fervently as he clenched his fists tightly.
