With lunch finished, Emma excused herself, "Sorry, Hani, I have weapon training with my dad. You will be stuck with my mom for magic lessons." Emma waved goodbye.
With her gone, it was only Hani and Mrs Wang alone in the dining room. "So, Hani, how has school life been? How did you and Emma become friends?" Mrs Wang took this opportunity to ask Hani questions her daughter would never answer.
"About that..." Hani hesitated to reply to the question, "It would be better to hear from Emma." Hani tried to avoid the question, hiding something.
Mrs Wang kept smiling and silent towards Hani. Obviously, she was not backing down; behind that smile, she could feel the devilish aura rising. Hani did not know what would happen to her if she did not say anything.
"Well... we met halfway through last year of school. There was an accident and misunderstanding, but we ended up getting close because of that." Hani gave a vague reply.
"And?" Mrs Wang asked, waiting ever so patiently.
