Back home, Emma sat on the sofa, clutching onto the cushion, squeezing it. She kept thinking about Hani, every little movement she made, the heavy breathing from the hard work, and the smile. While Emma watched Hani sweating from working out, it was the first time she had seen her do physical labour. Something about it felt different.
I really need to stop thinking about it right now...you guys are friends right now. Breathe, Emma! That was embarrassing for you.
She dug her face into the cushion and screamed lightly into it. Deciding to cool off, she went to take a shower.
