As the crowds dispersed, with sparring coming to an end for most people, Hani sat down on the bench after grabbing a bottle of water. She looked out at the remaining people sparring, sitting as far as possible from the other students who had finished sparring.
That was hectic. I did not expect to be arguing with people as soon as I started to practice with them. Seriously, this is going to be a long day.
A group of students on the same bench as Hani on the other side whispered and looked at each other, then pointed towards where Hani was sitting. Hani pretended that she did not notice the fingers and stares.
The group walked up to her, and one person awkwardly led at the front.
Oh, now here we go. Not more of these crazy people coming to have a go at me.
Hani sighed, waiting for the berating, but instead got something else.
"Hey... we saw you fight with Mary right now. That was amazing!" one of the girls said.
