Hearing Hani talk about the place in high regard, she decided to trust her and fastened her laces tight. The laces hung from nearly touching the floor itself; not thinking otherwise, Emma had just casually tied them up. Before Emma could stand up, Hani held up both her hands in a stop motion and halted her from moving forward, "Oh Emma, if you do it like this, the laces will come off and you will trip. I don't want you to break a bone on our first date! I don't think Mrs Wang will like that either. She is a scary woman in and out of training, but don't tell her I told you so."
Hani knelt down and, using a different knot, she fastened the shoes to her feet, then tightly tucked them in, making it very secure and safe. "There you go." Hani looked up towards Emma and smiled. The close proximity of her smiling face startled Hani, causing her face to blush.
"Thanks." She mumbled to Hani, unable to look her in the eyes.
