Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: Kamado Tanjurou's Worries

"Mr. Mori, good morning," Kamado Tanjurou greeted with a smile.

Sora Mori nodded, looking at the big tree that was easily put down by Kamado Tanjurou, and his heart skipped a beat.

This tree weighed at least four to five thousand catties, but it was easily lifted by Kamado Tanjurou. Moreover, it seemed that he hadn't expended much effort. It can be imagined that his strength was far greater than it appeared.

If he used all his strength, who knows how much he could lift?

Even though Kamado Tanjurou wasn't a swordsman, his true strength might not be small.

However, Sora Mori wasn't too surprised that Kamado Tanjurou had such strength. After all, the Kamado family was the inheritor of Yoriichi Tsugikuni's will, and the family had practiced the "Hinokami Kagura" dance for generations.

What's more, Kamado Tanjurou was the only ordinary person who had mastered the "transparent world" outside of the Demon Slayer Corps.

And the so-called "transparent world" is a state where the world becomes transparent and visible in the mind. It is the 'highest realm' that can be reached only after working hard and enduring pain.

In this state, by concentrating and closing redundant organs, the creature's body appears transparent.

Whether it's their own action speed, the ability to predict and avoid attacks will be significantly improved, and it can even affect the opponent's lungs.

The vascular flow in the area can be clearly seen.

Moreover, the contraction of one's own muscles can be grasped faster. If there is fighting energy, it can freely close the body's fighting energy and can also perceive the opponent's actions.

"Mr. Tanjurou just came back from cutting trees in the forest?" Sora Mori asked with a smile.

"Yes, to make some charcoal," Kamado Tanjurou smiled.

"Breakfast is ready," Kamado Kie, who was standing in the kitchen, spoke softly at this time.

"Mr. Mori, let's go eat together," Kamado Tanjurou also laughed.

"Thank you very much for your hospitality, Tanjurou," Sora Mori replied.

In the living room, the food was already set on the table, and the aroma of the food lingered.

Just by smelling it, one could tell that the breakfast was delicious.

It was evident that Kamado Kie's cooking skills were also very good.

Good cooking, beautiful and gentle...

Thinking of this, Sora Mori couldn't help looking at Kamado Tanjurou. His complexion was sallow and thin, and there was an obvious scar on his left forehead, which gave him an unattractive appearance. It was unexpected that someone so unattractive would have such a beautiful wife.

"Where are Mrs. Kie and the children? Why aren't they coming over for breakfast?" Sora Mori sat down at the dining table, seeing only himself and Kamado Tanjurou, and couldn't help asking.

"The guests are here; how can we let a woman sit at the table?" Kamado Tanjurou said, his eyes falling on Sora Mori: "It seems that Mr. Mori is not from around here, right?"

Sora Mori was slightly taken aback, probably realizing that this was some kind of rule or custom.

"I'm indeed not from around here; I came from a faraway place and encountered some things..." Sora Mori randomly thought of a reason to explain.

Kamado Tanjurou nodded, not intending to delve too deeply.

At the dining table, the two chatted while eating.

The more they talked, the more Kamado Tanjurou felt that Sora Mori was an extraordinary person, and many of his insights and knowledge were beyond the reach of ordinary people.

"Ahem..."

While chatting, Kamado Tanjurou's complexion suddenly turned pale, and he coughed violently.

Sora Mori hastily handed over a glass of water. Kamado Tanjurou took a sip and felt a little better, at the same time, saying with a bit of helplessness: "I don't know what's wrong recently; my body always feels a little powerless, and there's this constant cough."

Sora Mori just listened quietly, his eyes flickering slightly.

Kamado Tanjurou didn't pay much attention and continued: "I've seen some doctors, but they couldn't find anything..."

When talking about this, Kamado Tanjurou had a trace of unconcealable sadness on his brows because he always felt that his health seemed to be getting worse.

This made Kamado Tanjurou feel uneasy and worried.

What worried him was his physical condition, and what worried him even more was his family.

If something unexpected happened to him, what would become of his remaining family members?
