The words seemed to unlock something in him, because his mouth curved, dangerous and slow, before he flicked open the case.
Inside, lined neatly like instruments waiting for a symphony, lay the toys. Smooth, gleaming, cold to the touch. Restraints. Glass. Steel. Silicone. A collection that whispered promise and threat in equal measure.
