"Don't stop now," Lily murmured with a teasing grin. "I was getting into it."
Konrad yanked his hand away as if her stomach electrocuted him, face flushed.
"H-how long have you been awake?" he stuttered, the earlier confidence evaporating.
She giggled, sprouting fluffy cat ears and posing on his lap like a feline.
"Only a minute—and I deserve more caresses," the ginger stated with a pout.
She'd curl her fists like they were paws, acting all cute for him.
And, well, for Gabrielle, too, because she never left. Konrad gulped hard.
"Oh, don't mind me, make love in my carriage as if I wasn't even here," the girl in blue said.
Konrad couldn't tell if she was being sarcastic or was downright mocking them. She didn't smirk or make faces—her expression seemed curious, if anything.
"Do you think I wouldn't?" Lily scoffed, taking it as a dare, and reaching for his face.
He was in the middle of an interrogation—and finally starting to get somewhere.
Now? All his blood drained from his brain and ended up either in his flushed face or much lower. He tried to hold back the ginger's hands, but that only stoked her flames.
"If the archangel wants a show, let's give her one, Konny baby."
Her hazel eyes bounced back and forth between his and Gabrielle's, the girl refusing to flinch.
"I-I was trying to get her to talk," Konrad said, then cleared his throat. "And you, too. There is a lot I still don't know, and I can't trust you until—"
He was trying his best to sound serious, but his voice came out strained.
Lily shifted her weight on his lap, approaching dangerous waters.
"A little fun will help with that." She was all tease and no shame. "Didn't you like our last time together? I can answer anything while you're inside me, too—what do you want to k-meow?"
"Are you serious?!"
It wasn't the question he wanted to ask, but that was all that came out, his voice pitching up.
He tried to push her hands away, and Lily rolled her eyes.
"Of course I am. Next question?"
The most nerve-wracking aspect of her advances was how much it turned him on.
Despite Gabrielle watching—or was it also part of it? Was it normal for an archangel to—
"It is not, but you are amusing. And he wanted to ask where you were. Not like you can't read his mind as well as I do," the duke's daughter seemed to have had enough of all the fumbling.
Right. Both of his haremettes could see deep into him, so they knew exactly how he felt.
Not that his bulge wasn't an obvious sign.
Lily giggled, shifting again until she almost touched that very sign before talking.
"I visited Lucifer to give him a piece of my mind," she said, shaking off his hands and reaching for his flaming face. Compared to that, her hand felt cold, and so soft—
But he couldn't let her distract him.
"So Lu is short for Lucifer, right?" He struggled to gather his thoughts.
The few remaining ones that weren't sexual.
"Oh, that's how he introduced himself?" Gabrielle snorted. "Right, his name on your world is too well known—though he isn't as bad as your holy scriptures made him out to be."
Konrad's eyes widened.
"You mean the Bible? He's THAT Lucifer?"
"To be fair, he's much worse." Lily pouted. "In some way. But that book has so many inaccuracies—they also refer to Gabrielle as a man."
That sure helped to put his erection down.
He was more confused than ever, and the archangel scratched her temples.
When the ginger made her advances, she seemed calm, but now?
Gabrielle sighed, trying to defend her brother first.
"He has some strange hobbies, and once this is over, I'll give him a long and serious talk, too. But he's not opposed to God like your scriptures claimed already two thousand years ago."
"S-so when he reincarnated me—"
His voice trailed off, and Lily's grin widened.
"Yes, he had no idea about his sister's plan, or Maou Midori," she answered the question he couldn't even finish. "But he had plenty of ulterior motives—and he also stole you from me."
"Ulterior—Stole? What do you mean?"
Right when he thought he started to understand things, they got more complicated.
"Okay, this is none of my business," Gabrielle said, stretching her legs and getting up.
Because, as it seemed, for them to have sex in front of her would have been?
"The only thing I want is to take care of the Demon Lord. I'll leave the rest to you." She was about to leave, opening the carriage's door. "And I guess I'll take the other cart home."
"Aww, so you won't join our fun?" Lily complained with a smirk.
She kicked the air as if imitating how she'd throw her out, but Gabrielle stopped on the steps.
"If that helps him in his fight, I'll even make him noble babies," she claimed, winking.
And his erection returned right away. It got even worse.
"M-master, please have my babies, too," Eyna pleaded, standing right outside the carriage.
Konrad paled—how long was she standing there?
Lily burst into a laugh, and Gabrielle smiled, too—a real rarity in her case.
The duke's daughter patted the girl's silvery-violet hair as she descended the steps.
"As long as it won't distract him, he can have all the kids he wants," Gabrielle decided for him.
"Do I even have a say in this?" Konrad protested, his face burning—and he still didn't get answers for most of his questions. "I'm not ready for kids—for either of yours."
"Gotcha, I'll make sure to kill all your sperm next time you finish inside meow—"
If Lily meant her offer to be helpful, it had the opposite effect.
Eyna crossed her arms, pouting, and Konrad felt even more embarrassed.
"I'm not sure he understands how harems work." Gabrielle giggled as if enjoying his suffering.
"We'll have to teach him then," the ginger volunteered with a smirk. Her hands crept closer to his bulge—still present, but confused—as she added, "I know he wished for one."
"I did not—" Konrad shouted, but the denial stuck in his throat as he remembered.
It has been some time; more than eighteen years have passed since his death and reincarnation.
But on that fateful day, he wanted revenge and perfect control over his life.
And for a split second, he entertained the thought of having a harem, too.
The list of people he wanted to take revenge against only grew since.
This chaos was anything but controlled, either.
And to think he'd only achieve the harem part until his second adulthood—
"H-how did you even know?" Konrad asked, still red as a tomato.
"Oh, Konny boy, I was there, too," Lily claimed, tapping his lips with her index finger. "And told Lucifer, if you ever follow through with the harem thing, I'm calling dibs. So, here we are."
That made it clear, even in his flustered state.
Though she wasn't part of the angel's plan—she wasn't as innocent as her cat ears made her look, either. His gaze wandered between the three beauties, Eyna seeming the most confused.
But Konrad had a hunch, he'd look even more ridiculous right now.
He had gotten more questions after this exchange than before his interrogation.
