The feeling of accomplishment could only carry Konrad over his doorstep.
His home was nothing more than a chamber behind his makeshift office. Not worthy of a duke, or even a decent human being, but with how little he had spent resting—
He didn't care. Not until now—but he had plans for the evening.
Fighting his exhaustion with the last of his strength, he fell face-first into his bed.
He was about to pass out for a week, but there was a small issue: a tiny ball of energy by his side.
"Aren't you forgetting something?"
Lily kept poking his ribs until he somehow turned on his back.
"I'm about to die," Konrad confessed, struggling to keep his eyes open.
It was worth it, though, seeing a beautiful girl climb over to straddle his hips.
His heart worked overtime to pump blood down south, but he couldn't move.
"I'm not keen on necromancy, but might have to animate you," she joked.
Or was that a warning?
He never knew when it came to the demoness.
She had the privilege of reading his mind, but Konrad had to guess.
And with that little blood he had left circulating—
"Come on, was that endurance training for nothing?" Lily squeezed with her thighs, stirring something in him. "It wasn't even you doing the fighting today."
Konrad scoffed.
"I burned through like three thousand mana setting things up."
It was an absolute record that he wasn't prepared to break.
Back in the catacombs, he struggled much more for less, and his life depended on it.
Today, it was all his doing, but things soon got out of hand setting up his maze. And yet, apart from a little nosebleed, he was doing fine until the very end.
He had every reason to feel proud, but even this wasn't enough for some people.
"What a whiny little boy," the demoness laughed, leaning in closer. Her messy copper curls fell into his face, tickling his nose with her sweet cinnamon smell. "Those were illusions. I'm real."
True. Her scent, the softness and weight, they all felt and were real.
Despite everything he's been through, his body reacted to them in the way he'd expect.
"I teleported seven times," Lily said. "Brought back a poor bastard from the brink of death, and mended at least a hundred broken bones. In your numbers, that's close to ten thousand mana."
"Jesus," was all Konrad could squeeze out.
Especially with those thighs clamping around him even tighter.
Yeah, she was working hard, too, and he didn't even give her a choice.
"Funny you should mention him," the demoness giggled. "I use more or less the same healing magic as that guy. No wonder Miss Princess couldn't believe her eyes. You should praise me."
"The same magic as—"
Was his brain no longer working, or did she say she used the healing powers of the son of—
"Wow, you're a zombie already," Lily complained, squeezing him even harder.
Something else was also getting hard despite his exhaustion.
Once the ginger noticed the change, she flashed a smug smirk, adjusting to accommodate him.
"Guess you don't need magic to resurrect me," Konrad groaned as the friction began to build.
The demoness snorted and laughed.
"Oh, now you're alive enough for those corny lines?" she teased. "We're getting there, then."
His arms moved on their own, reaching for the girl's bare sides.
Her clothes were still on—though not for long—but they didn't cover much to begin with.
The warmth of her soft skin, the subtle curves, the gentle protrusion of her ribs—
Konrad couldn't find a detail that wasn't perfect, at least in his eyes. And feeling every inch of her made him grow a few more inches, too. Forget exhaustion, numbness, success or failure.
Who wouldn't get turned on by the hottest, cutest ginger grinding against him?
"You're sweet, but you overuse your brain and move too little," she accused, doing all the hard work with her hips. "At least undress me, Konny boy—I know you want to see everything."
Right. Stupid mind-reading.
He couldn't even appreciate her without her knowing.
"What a slave driver," he moaned, sliding his palms up her sides.
He pushed the flimsy fabric out of the way, and her breasts, small and firm, fit so well he'd never want to let them go.
"You'll have to," she murmured, head thrown back as his fingers found her hardening nipples.
He rolled the little nubs between them before voicing his confusion.
"Have what?" Then, realising what she meant, "Why would I let go of them?"
"Because," she mirrored his moaning. "You'll have to take off my pants and fill me up, big boy."
If she didn't mention the filling, Konrad wouldn't have realised how much his lower half ached.
His own clothes felt too tight, his body rigid, screaming for release.
Having a girlfriend was insane in both worlds. Having one who not only allowed but encouraged keeping a harem alongside her? That was more than he deserved.
Well, not that he had the chance of living that life yet, but—
No, he needed no other woman to think about.
Not now, not here, when he had his number one in all her glory and ready to go.
Reluctant as he felt, he let go of her breasts, hooking his thumbs into her waistband instead.
Lily raised her hips, and all the fabric covering her slid off in one fluid motion.
Konrad's own garbs followed, his erection finally free, and springing at attention.
It took her no more than a second to hover over it and aim before lowering herself down.
Konrad could do nothing in response but cry out in joy.
"This, this right there," the demoness moaned with him, her hazel eyes rolling back already.
He had no strength to make coherent sounds anymore.
Only his body moved—on its own—straining to meet her every movement. Her sharp nails biting into his oversensitive skin anchored him to reality. Otherwise, he might've floated away.
"No, you don't," Lily mumbled, gyrating her hips and squeezing him with her thighs. "Not yet."
He had no idea where he got the energy from, but he knew exactly what he needed to do with it. Their bodies moved in unison, every tiny change sending new sensations down his spine.
This wasn't as passionate or intense as their first time together, and it didn't last as long, either.
But it was perfect, fulfilling and natural.
A new way of life—hard work during the day, and satisfaction with this stunning beauty later.
"Oh fuck, I could get used to this," he groaned, racing towards his climax.
"Ahh—am going to kill you—uuuuh—if you do," Lily warned. But her eyes were still stuck inside the back of her head, moaning most of it. "Don't take meow for granted."
Her words took too long to register. He was way past the point of no return by then.
His entire body locked up with the sudden release, her thighs clamping down on him even harder. From the pulsing of her warm and tight insides, she must've followed him in seconds.
Konrad pulled her closer, embracing her with the last of his strength, and whispered.
"I'd never do that. I'll earn this privilege every day," he promised.
"You'd better," Lily purred, nesting her head in the curve of his neck. "It'd be a shame to end your last life so soon."
