"Mommy, Daddy told us that you were busy fixing your life. That's why you're not going home!" Chacha mused in the backseat. The twins were seated between Atlas and Lola, but all their attention was on Lola. "Is it fixed now?"
"Mommy, if you're not, Second will fix it for you!" Second smiled at her.
Lola smiled, but her eyes wandered to where Atlas was seated. The latter shook his head, telling her that was not what he said.
"Well." She smacked her lips and excitedly gazed down at the twins. "Yes, it's fixed now because I finally get to see you both."
She pinched their cheeks, hugging them again as she deeply missed them. She knew she missed them, but only now did she truly realize just how much she did. When she drew her head back, she gave Atlas a brief look and mouthed,
'Thank you.'
