Lola winced at the twins' and Slater's cheers. The four of them — Allen included — had set up a table on the side and were eating breakfast while watching her.
I'm not running with them because I want to beat them!
But she kept that to herself, shaking her head and refocusing on her self-assigned mission. She jogged right beside the group, pacing them. Some of the men glanced at her but said nothing, choosing instead to ignore her completely.
