Back in the underground facility, Ransom, Florida, Long, and everyone else stood around the empty bed where the tablet was placed. They watched the situation aboveground through it, almost amazed at how Long had installed these cameras without anyone noticing.
"What are they doing?" one murmured, brows drawn tight as he followed a few feeds at the same time.
Right now, they could see mercenaries running around the area, with some flocking to the bar. Others were checking each manhole—for reasons they already guessed. There was also a feed where they could see Lola running in a different direction while those who came with her were in another area, hiding.
"There are so few of them," another whispered, recognizing some of the men who had stayed behind in Gigante earlier. "How could we even… survive this?"
