Lola and a few others—meaning almost everyone ready to fight—moved near the entrance of the District. However, only she, the boss, and a representative from Gigante stood before the large group waving Lola's signature.
The rest took different positions with their weapons, including Florida and the Bellemonte member. Although they weren't far, they were positioned well enough to get a clear view of the area and cover Lola if the worst came.
Everyone in their respective positions controlled their breathing. Florida, who was stationed at a higher elevation, gulped, a bead of sweat trickling down his temple as he kept his eyes sharp, with Lola as his top priority to protect.
As for those on the ground, the boss leaned closer to Lola.
"Goddess," he called, keeping his eyes on the first row of trucks coming to a stop several hundred meters away. "Any idea who those people are? Any familiar faces?"
Lola arched a brow, sliding her eyes toward him. "Why are you here?"
