Haji raised his hands as men surrounded him, their weapons pointed in his direction.
Damn it… he breathed out, almost imagining Chuck and Scarlet's reaction when they found out he got caught.
When Haji parted from them under the excuse of taking a leak, he quickly searched for where the big bosses were. However, even after secretly knocking out one of the marshals and taking their clothes, things still got out of hand when he was questioned while trying to blend in.
He didn't have a choice—the man questioning him had started pulling out his gun.
In the end, Haji was forced into a confrontation, which only drew more attention. After what felt like forever—after taking down everyone who stood in his way—here he was, ambushed by some guys he actually recognized.
"Haji," one of the men called with a snort. "What the hell are you doing here?"
The man glanced around casually before locking eyes with him again. "Where's she?"
