To think she got a gift. She started unboxing immediately.
She opened the box and once she saw what was inside, her face paled.
Katherine's hands were shaking when she saw the fabric in the box. It was a cloth, more like a dress—a familiar dress—and it was drenched in red liquid, like blood.
"Ahh!!" She screamed, gaining Nathan's attention.
He'd not been interested in her gift earlier but quickly rushed to her side to see what it was, and when he did, he frowned deeply.
"Nathan. There's blood. Something sent this to scare me," she cried, wrapping her arms around him instantly for protection.
Meanwhile, Nathan's eyebrows were furrowed in confusion.
A familiar dress he believed he'd seen somewhere but couldn't put a finger on where he'd seen it was drenched in red liquid. The liquid could be blood but the chances are rare.
He immediately called for the servant.
"Who gave you this?" He questioned.
