Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

The cold winds howled across the remote cliffside, carrying with them the scent of dust and decay. At the very edge, a youth sat cross-legged, his thin frame silhouetted against the dying sun. His once-bright eyes were now dull, as if life had been drained from them long ago.

Xuanyuan Zhen, fifteen years of age, had once been the clan's greatest hope—until the heavens cursed him. Born with two legendary physiques, the Desolate Saint Body and the Firmament Overlord Body, he should have soared above all geniuses. Yet, the moment these two ancient forces awakened within him, they clashed violently, crippling his meridians and shattering his dantian.

Five years had passed since that day. Five years of humiliation, pity, and cold indifference.

The Xuanyuan Clan, once eager to claim him as their prodigy, now looked at him as a stain. All attention had shifted to his cousin, Xuanyuan Hao, who had awakened the mythical Supreme Bone. While Xuanyuan Hao was celebrated as the future sovereign, Zhen was left to rot in a forgotten corner of the clan estate.

The only thing Zhen still possessed from his past was a pitch-black spatial ring—an heirloom given to him on his tenth birthday by his father, Xuanyuan Wudi, and mother, Gu Wanyue, before they vanished on a mysterious journey. For five years, the ring had been silent, as if mocking his helplessness.

Until tonight.

As the twilight deepened, a faint pulse emanated from the ring, like a heartbeat echoing in his palm. A cold yet ancient voice whispered in the depths of his soul.

'Trinity of primordial breath '

The ring's surface blazed with black light, swallowing Zhen's consciousness.

In that instant, he saw various visions— a swirl of Primordial Chaos Qi, the essence of all creation, the noble radiance of Grandmist Purple Qi which existed even before creation began, and the steady glow of Mysterious Yellow Qi that formed the foundation of all realms.

When Zhen awoke, an archaic scroll floated before him, its words blazing with multicolored runes:

'Trinity of Primordial Breath...

Absorb the essence of creation...

Refine the breath of the beginning...

Create the strongest foundation... Transcend the shackles of heaven...'

For the first time in five years, a faint smile tugged at Xuanyuan Zhen's lips.

The world had abandoned him.

Now… he would return the favour.

Before the first light of dawn, a cold mist swirled around the broken hut where Xuanyuan Zhen had taken refuge for years. Inside, the black spatial ring on his finger pulsed faintly, casting a faint dark glow across the worn floorboards.

Zhen sat cross-legged, eyes closed, focusing on the storm within his body. For five years, the twin forces that defined his existence had fought endlessly—

The Desolate Saint Body, with its golden sacred blood shining like molten sunlight, carrying the power of divinity and immortality.

The Firmament Overlord Body, with its deep purple domineering blood thundering like the crushing sky, born to dominate and obliterate.

These two forces, ancient and mighty, had torn his meridians apart since awakening. Pain and weakness had become his constant companions, and the clan had abandoned him to rot.

But tonight was different.

The "Trinity of Primordial Breath", a forbidden cultivation technique sealed within the black spatial ring, stirred to life.

Xuanyuan Zhen inhaled deeply, drawing in the three primordial breaths of creation:

The wild, untamed Primordial Chaos Qi, raw and boundless as creation itself.

The regal, immutable Grandmist Purple Qi, embodying the pre-creation state.

The dark heavy Mysterious Yellow Qi, the foundation of all creation.

As the three qi flooded into his shattered meridians, something incredible happened. Instead of destroying each other, the two physiques drank deeply from the triune energy, their conflict stilled by the power of the technique.

The golden sacred blood and the purple domineering blood flared, as they devoured the primordial essence.

The cultivation technique demanded vast amounts of energy—every pulse and breath consumed the primordial qi in torrents. Yet the reward was undeniable: broken meridians mended, veins of power rekindled, and his body growing stronger, surer.

A surge of power blasted through him as his cultivation level skyrocketed, leaping from the Mortal Realm to Body Refining Stage Five in one painful, glorious night.

His blood qi, now a vibrant tide of purple-gold, throbbed fiercely beneath his skin, overflowing with the strength of two ancient physiques finally harmonized.

But the price was clear—without continuous energy replenishment, the fragile balance would shatter, and the conflict would reignite.

Xuanyuan Zhen rose slowly, the fire of renewed life burning bright in his eyes. Outside, the world was cold and merciless—his clan, had long since turned away. His father and mother had left him on his own.

He stepped out from the shadows of his hut into the biting cold night.

Tonight, he would hunt. Not just to survive… but to feed the saint and overlord blood coursing through him, to fuel the Trinity of Primordial Breath that had resurrected him from ruin.
