Chapter 121 - Complete Susanoo vs. ‘Large Bullet Form’

Facing Rosen's provocation, Douglas Bullet responded directly with the strongest attitude.

Boom!

He casually raised his huge arm—more than a kilometer long and as massive as a Sea King—setting off a huge wave of dust on the island that rushed straight into the sky.

Ssshhff!

His Armament Haki turned into ferocious, violent black lightning, wrapping around his arm and adding an unparalleled force to it.

Then, Douglas Bullet did not advance forward but raised his arm and punched directly—like a meteorite falling from outer space—breaking through the sound barrier, carrying a fiery-red air wave that surged in all directions, striking down toward Rosen from above.

Just like his style with the Clank-Clank Fruit, even after showing the awakened power of the fruit, his moves remained as simple and brutal as ever.

Of course, in the 'Large Bullet' form, the Demon's Heir was simply too heavy and huge. Even if he wanted to use some refined techniques, his massive frame made such finesse impossible.

He could only make full use of his overwhelming size advantage, covering himself with an immense amount of Armament Haki, wrapping himself in violent Conqueror's Haki, and striking with the most savage posture—like a demon descending to earth.

Faced with this earth-shattering, Haki punch, a normal person would be frightened into mental collapse and madness just from seeing it—only able to scream and wail.

But Rosen, watching this terrifying giant fist fall from the sky, kept his eyes and expression calm from beginning to end, unmoved.

Clang!

When the Haki punch neared, he controlled the Complete Susanoo, holding a long sword in each hand—both wrapped with crackling black lightning—while the massive ethereal wings behind him spread wide.

Like a great roc soaring into the heavens, Susanoo stepped into the sky, carrying divine blades that could cut the heavens and split the earth.

The two swords crossed, slashing at Douglas Bullet's mountain-sized fist.

Bang!

As the giant fist and Susanoo's comparatively small blades met, black lightning exploded, raging across the sky and tearing through the sea of clouds.

Under the rampage of that black thunder, the sky and the island seemed to have turned into a terrifying pool of lightning, annihilating everything nearby.

The earth cracked like a parched riverbed, thousands of fractures spreading and bursting. Rolling shockwaves of air hurled sand and rock into the sky, blotting out the sun like stormy waves rolling in all directions.

Boom!

After a brief deadlock, Rosen and his Susanoo were knocked backward through the air.

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

At the same time, deafening impacts resounded—Douglas Bullet, whose size was dozens of times greater than Susanoo, was also pushed back by the recoil, trampling the already ruined island and leaving crater-like footprints one after another.

"No… impossible!"

After regaining his footing, Bullet's voice carried disbelief. He had revealed the ultimate form of his Clank-Clank Fruit awakening, combined with the full might of all Three Forms of Haki.

In this 'Large Bullet' form, his devastating, Haki punch should have crushed anything in its path—yet Rosen not only met it head-on but even forced him back.

"Bullet!"

Rosen shouted, and Susanoo's other two arms drew out two more long swords. Power surged skyward, stirring the sea of clouds above. The giant war-god's wings spread, and his hundred-meter-tall frame shot into the sky, charging toward Bullet.

Ssshhff!

As the gap closed, all four arms raised their blades. Black lightning danced wildly on each edge before erupting forward in a colossal slash.

"Rosen!"

Douglas Bullet, provoked, swung his mountain-sized fist without hesitation, wrapping it once more in Armament Haki and pushing forward across the sky. The divine force behind it could split mountains and crack the earth.

Bang!

Dozens of black lightning bolts exploded.

Tidal waves of force rolled upward into the sky.

In the earth-shaking clash, fists and blades locked in a brief stalemate.

When Rosen passed behind Bullet, a thunderous crack split the air.

Kaba!

From Bullet's fist to his shoulder, a fracture over a kilometer long ripped through his massive arm. Black lightning poured from the break.

A moment later, the enormous limb snapped completely at the shoulder and crashed to the ground, sending a hundred-meter-high column of dust into the air.

One arm of the 'Large Bullet' form—gone.

"It's not over yet!"

Bullet roared and turned, his remaining arm swinging like a maddened giant Sea King. He smashed it backward, bursting apart the sea of clouds and unleashing a surge of Conqueror's Haki.

Rosen turned as well, raising his sword to block with Susanoo's full might.

Bang!

At the instant sword met fist, Bullet's rage detonated into unimaginable force—like a missile explosion—casting a shockwave of black lightning that swallowed the sky and sun, blasting Susanoo backward with man and blade.

When Rosen stopped, he had been pushed back a full kilometer.

Though Susanoo's defense remained unbroken and Rosen was unharmed, the sheer force of the Demon's Heir's blow still took him by surprise.

Yet after that punch, Bullet did not chase. He stood where he was, his immense frame trembling slightly, heavy breaths rumbling in the air.

Clearly, the attack that had just repelled Susanoo had come at great cost—it wasn't an ordinary strike, but a full-power blow that consumed immense Haki.

Even the Demon's Heir, famed for his monstrous strength, felt the burden.

But within moments, his heavy breathing faded, and the mountain-sized arm once again radiated Haki that shook the heavens.

This was the Demon's Heir—his recovery was monstrous.

Not only did he possess vast reserves of Haki, but the speed at which he replenished it was shocking. He was like a demon from the depths of Hell.

"I really underestimated you… Bullet."

Rosen's gaze was steady on the towering purple giant before him, whose head pierced the clouds and whose feet crushed the island.

He knew he could destroy Bullet's 'Large Bullet' form with the Complete Susanoo alone, but it would take too much time.

If Bullet could continue unleashing blows like that last one, it wouldn't be over in just a few exchanges.

It would require a true, drawn-out battle.

With that thought, Susanoo's colossal form suddenly vanished from the sky.

Bullet froze in confusion.

Not only him—Sengoku, Garp, and Magellan on the distant warship were also momentarily stunned.

"Is it because the Haki consumption is too high?" Garp quickly guessed the reason.

As the first Marine to master Armament Haki, his understanding of it was unmatched.

From the moment he saw Rosen's Susanoo, he had understood—this Haki-forged construct was the pinnacle, unprecedented, the ultimate in Armament mastery.

But because of its immense power, the drain on Haki must have been colossal. Especially since Rosen had fought Bullet entirely with Susanoo, never once relying on his Devil Fruit powers. The toll had to be unprecedented.

"Not necessarily."

Sengoku's eyes gleamed red as he used Observation Haki to gauge Rosen's presence.

"Maintaining that Susanoo does demand staggering amounts of Haki. However… Rosen's aura hasn't dropped much. He didn't dismiss it because his Haki was exhausted—he chose to."

After a moment's thought, he added, "His Armament Haki has decreased, but he still has more than half left."

Even so, Sengoku couldn't help but wonder—why had Rosen put away the Complete Susanoo at this critical moment?
