Chapter 55 - A Dumbass Kidnapper

It took Su Wanqing about a minute to absorb what Tianrui just said.

She then put a hand on his chin and carefully analyzed him. Only then, when she saw that it wasn't a fake, and was actually the real, genuine Tianrui, did she breathe a sigh.

As Xero's older brother, Tianrui was actually similar to him in some ways. So long as Tianrui gave up as disguising himself as a cultivator, Xero thought that this guy could still tentatively be considered as pretty chill and cool. However, the difference between them was that he had never been a narcissist, while Tianrui could look in the mirror and fantasize about f**king himself. The scientific research department had replaced everything that could reflect his image to avoid distractions when he was researching.

He was truly a dumbass, and this idiocy was reflected in many other ways, "narcissism" being the very first, and egotism also in the bunch.

"You know, this is the first time a girl had touched my chin like this…"

Tianrui was a little flustered that a pretty girl was touching his chin with delicate fingers and especially staring at him with beautiful pink, blue gradient eyes. "But elder sister, now's not the time for flirting, I advise you to let me go in the next five minutes, or else, this planet as we know it will be destroyed. The explosion may cause the solar system to collapse! At that time, forget about your revenge, you will have to be worrying about how you'll gather your ashes."

"Eh?! Who the f**k is flirting with you, bastard!" In the end, Su Wanqing couldn't help swearing, even her 34D boobs shook.

"…"

After pondering for a moment, she realized…

Given Tianrui's current behavior, the problem may not be his appearance, but his brain!

People in the scientific research zone tended to be real unorthodox in their thinking and would most likely be delusional! After muttering to herself for a bit, she crouched halfway to Tianrui. "My apologies handsome, my tone wasn't nice there, I need to confirm something real quick."

As a professional kidnapper, it was absolutely vital that she payed attention to the psychological health of her captives. Otherwise, it would be problematic if they went crazy before being used. Furthermore, this was a hostage suffering from delusions so there could be a chance he would kill himself.

"What's up?" Tianrui backed up to a corner in the locker room.

"Are you delusional? To put it simply, is your brain fried?"

"… You're the one with a deep fried brain!"

"Stop denying, I already know." Su Wanqing cupped her chin as she looked at Tianrui with a calm air. "I have some background in basic psychology. Given the extent of your delusions, fantasizing constantly about the Earth's destruction… as well as the solar system in a whole… this is just too much. You should pay attention to this! Doesn't the Yunzhou Scientific Laboratory care? You need… love!"

"… Girl, the earth being destroyed is very well true. I'm saying the power and volume of the explosion or crisis would disrupt and destroy the other planets and the atmosphere, including the damn sun!"

"See, you're having another episode!"

Su Wanqing rubbed Tianrui's head. "Relax, okay? Listen, our Shadow Emblem assassins are very dedicated. In order to ensure our hostages' worth, we would not harm them physically or mentally before they can be of use for us!"

Saying this, she held Tianrui's hand softly. The sensation made Tianrui shudder. "Believe me, I will help you!"

"…" Tianrui didn't know what to say.

"Mm… How about this, to show you my good faith, I'll give you a love hug!"

As soon as the girl finished speaking, Tianrui felt two arms wrap around him tightly, and then two massive incomparably shadows bore over him like the weight of Mount Hua, flattening his face…

Zhang Tianrui: "Sh*t!" Damn! These things were too big, are these really 34D?!

The girl held him for three whole minutes, before letting go. She was startled when she saw Tianrui pass out as two streams of blood gushed out of his nose, he was incredibly red too!

At that moment, she felt the situation was dire, and immediately made a call on her wristwatch.

"Sis… I've caught the person."

"But the dude… There's something wrong with his brain!"

"From my initial point, he suffers from severe delusions. I decided to just give him an emergency treatment, but I didn't expect him to get a nosebleed and pass out…"

The voice on the other end was cold, yet sweet. "… Oh. What'd you do?"

"Of course, I gave him a love hug, this serious type of delusion needs humane care!"

"…"

The woman on the other end sighed. "Alright. I understand."

"Understand what, sis?"

"It's not his brain that has the problem… It's yours."

"You f**king asshole! It was necessary, sis!"

Xero stood at the entrance of the school dormitory at No. 89 High School, his gaze deep as he stared into the distance, his nose and ears twitching at a steady rate; the chains in the dimensional seal are crackling… so far it had already been more than nine minutes.

The danger level had risen from three stars to four. And Xero had no doubt that the danger level was not going to stop there.

He could roughly guess what this danger was.

The old version of the Dao talisman seal was about to expire; he had around two hours left before the remaining energy broke the talisman entirely. But there was no trace of Tianrui.

Xero closed his eyes and released his spiritual senses to try and get ahold of Tianrui's aura but couldn't feel a thing.

He had clearly felt Tianrui's aura sometime ago, and had known the moment he had entered the school gate.

Assuming that he would arrive soon, Xero waited at the front entrance of the school dormitory. But strangely, when he tried to track Tianrui's aura again, he found out that it disappeared!

Of course, with his power unsealed, he would be able to track Tianrui no matter where we went. But at that time, the solar system would be finished.

This hateful brother… something had happened to him?

Xero stared into the sky and frowned with sudden annoyance.

Clearly, something had befallen Tianrui.

Moreover, it felt as if his sense signals were being blocked by a magic weapon.

Although Xero didn't know where Tianrui was exactly, he was certain that Tianrui still is in the No. 89 High School vicinity.

Since he couldn't use his senses to track him, he had to think of some other way…

Xero walked to a shadow of a large tree where no one was around. A pair of fox ears popped on his head, and he transformed into an orange and white small Chinese fox.

At this critical moment, he thought of the small group of kittens at the No. 89 High School sakura and magnolia forest.

To find Tianrui decisively and swiftly, Xero felt that he had take this into his own hands and utilize the strength of this special animal…
