Chapter 209: The Aburame Clan
"Chirp!" As soon as Duy jumped on, Shirotaka burst into tears, obviously under a lot of pressure.
"Oh?" Duy touched his head, embarrassed. "I forgot to take off my weight." He was about to take it off, but Sasuke stopped him.
"Earth Style: Light and Heavy Rock Technique!"
Sasuke placed his hands on Duy's body, and he instantly became as light as a swallow.
"Commander Umino, what a great trick," Aburame Shibi said, shocked. 'If I'm not mistaken, this should be a secret Iwagakure technique? How did the Commander get such a valuable technique?'
Shibi's guess was largely correct. With this technique, Sasuke reduced the group's weight by ninety-nine percent.
"Let's go!" he waved his hand. Shirotaka spread its wings and rose, guiding everyone towards Konoha.
Their speed was astonishing, and in less than two hours, they had almost returned. However, while flying through a forest, he discovered several Aburame ninjas hidden there. Apparently, the village had already received news of the Kamizuru invasion, and the Aburame were in ambush, preparing to attack them.
The battlefield they had chosen, near the Forest of Death, offered a particularly favorable environment. After meeting and talking briefly, they began to set traps.
"Commander Umino, the Kamizuru clan possesses flying beasts. Your explosive traps shouldn't be very effective, right?" Shibi asked, perplexed to see Sasuke creating numerous clones to set the traps.
"Shibi, if the Kamizuru clan loses their beasts and is completely defeated, wouldn't these traps be enough to stop and annihilate them?" Sasuke replied.
"Huh?" Shibi was startled, but smiled wryly. "You really hold our clan in high regard. Although I'm confident we can defeat them, it's simply impossible to do so quickly."
Sasuke didn't offer any additional explanation. Seeing his confidence, Shibi was deeply moved. According to the ANBU's information, the Kamizuru clan had come out with all their might this time. Even the elder chief was suspected of stealing Iwagakure's secret technique and defecting. To stop them, the Aburame clan ninjas were also in full action. This was not just a battle for glory between the two great insect clans, but a life-or-death battle for Konoha's survival.
After setting the trap, and before the enemy arrived, Sasuke began to gather clones to help the Aburame endure the pressure. He saw in the distance a huge swarm of bees, getting darker and darker, carrying almost two hundred Iwa ninjas. Seeing them arrive, he retrieved the Kamizuru clan's inherited summoning scroll and began to cast summoning techniques on it.
"Halt!" the Kamizuru army noticed something unusual and stopped. A perceptive ninja had discovered the trap.
"Master Kamizuru, what should we do? The information about our surprise attack has been leaked."
"Damn it! The mission can be canceled, but these Aburame ninjas must be eliminated."
The ambush was exposed, and billions of parasitic insects hidden in the forest, like a tornado, covered the sky and headed towards the enemy army.
"Summon the Hive!" the Kamizuru clan leader ordered.
Numerous ninjas began to form hand seals, trying to summon the Hive. However, what they summoned were not hives, but rows of detonating talismans. A vast sea of them exploded in the sky, sending the entire flying army to the ground. Faced with the onslaught of these Mutually Multiplying Detonating Talismans, not even the gigantic wood bees could resist.
Fortunately, not everyone cast their techniques simultaneously. Only a small number of the strongest managed to do so. Otherwise, the entire Kamizuru army would have been annihilated.
