Chapter 227: The Power of Yang Style
"It seems I'll have to do it myself."
Sasuke was a bit disappointed but not surprised. As the Hidden Cloud Village's ultimate secret, trying to seize its foundational secrets solely through mind-reading techniques was clearly a bit unlikely. Many in Konoha mastered mind-reading techniques, and the Yamanaka clan was among the most competent. While reading ordinary ninjutsu was easy, reading secret techniques containing seals was impossible.

"Number Five, use the electric eel."
To confirm his hypothesis, he quickly ordered the clone with the summoned eel to transmit bioelectric current to the jonin. Small arcs of electricity spread across his body. A greater portion of the current was absorbed by the Yang Style chakra, and then carried by the flow in his meridians, circulating and vibrating throughout his body, subtly replenishing his cells.

The training method for this chakra mode shared a similar purpose. While the Lightning Style Chakra Mode absorbed and assimilated electrical currents, his Wind Breathing absorbed and refined some mysterious factor in his breath, which could also be neutralized and enhanced using Yang Style chakra.
"What a shame," Sasuke shook his head. He already mastered the secrets of the Lightning Style Chakra Mode, but the Kumo ninja was not getting the corresponding secret potion to enhance it.
Seeing Sasuke shake his head, Shun, believing he had gained nothing, consoled him: "Sasuke-sama, after all, it's a secret of the Hidden Cloud Village. It's understandable that we couldn't penetrate its secrets."
"Mmm," Sasuke remained silent, continuing his penetration to make sure there were no errors.
