I never expected luck to find me when I was struggling to survive in a foreign country. Looking back, I'd say the Moon Goddess was watching over me, guiding me through my darkest days. Being a single mother has been more challenging than anything I've ever faced, but for my little pup, I refused to give up.
Five years have passed, and my life is finally stable. I have a steady job, thanks to Martha's daughter who recommended me to her boss. For two years, I've been working in an Event Organizing Company under the Event Operations Department. Now, I'm a hospitality coordinator.
"Congratulations, Elle. You deserve the position," my colleague said, using the name I'd adopted in the human world.
I smiled at my teammates. They were always happy for each other's success, just like a real pack. These humans had become good friends to me. Although rumors are inevitable,I'm proud that I've climbed this high through my own strength and determination.
