Kyra’s POV
It was just 5 AM when I decided to go out and swim. I spotted an infinity pool and thought I might as well enjoy my stay here, or rather, my imprisonment. The walk-in closet of my room contained hundreds of clothes, and I chose a black two-piece swimsuit.
I didn't want to look happy here. But I was already trapped in this beautiful prison. I had two choices: I could either feel sad all the time, or I could try to stay hopeful.
Hope. I laughed bitterly as I continued swimming. Snow was the only hope I had left. I'd tried asking Kieran to let me have my phone, even just for a few seconds.I desperately wanted to hear Snow's voice, but he refused to give my phone back.
When I was tired of swimming, I went back into the house. I saw Kieran in the hallway. His hair was messy and he looked worried. Sylvia, my wolf, growled inside me because she could feel I was nervous.
"Where were you?" he asked. His voice sounded worried, but I knew he just wanted to control me.
