"Ravić, your eyes. They're black," I gasped, my hand trembling against his cheek. "Are you alright? What the hell is happening?"
He didn't answer. He just dragged the towel over my bare skin, my hairs still soaked from the shower, water mingling with the dark streaks of blood creeping down my chest, the wound on my neck sealed but still throbbing from the weight of his bite.
"Ravić?" I called, my voice cracking as he moved with a strange, unnatural edge that's too sharp, too restless. Fear knotted my gut, twisting tight, but it was gone the moment his mouth crashed down on mine, fierce and urgent, his body hot and slick against mine.
He was hard again, raw and aching, even after the violent release that was still buried deep inside me. And I burned with it too. I clung to his shoulders, pouring every ounce of desperate heat into my kiss, swallowing down the panic clawing at my throat.
