The whole place was more beautiful than I'd ever imagined. I still didn't know how Ravić had managed it all under my nose, especially when we've spent nearly every day together. And when we weren't, we were always working to try and get back to one another. 

Yet somehow, between all that chaos, he had managed to build this. This perfect place. 

It finally felt like home. Far from the politics that surrounded the Palace, far from the glass city of his penthouse. Here, everything breathed. 

From the vast gardens stretching towards the tree line, guarded yet serene. The mists and the moonlight, painting the place with clouds of silver and green. I could almost see it.

Our future children, running around barefoot across the grass, their laughter echoing between the trees. Maybe we'll build a swing beneath that old oak, or a little treehouse where they could make memories with their cousins in.
